Why is Piplup so popular?

I agree with your banner instead of what was said, but come on, you have to admit the little penguin is adorable, it just turns butt-ugly when it evolves

that still doesn't explain why you have a banner saying how great grass is when you say the fire starter is the best and besides, I took Turtwig myself (Named him TacoIsland, because of his final form, for any Aqua Teen Hunger Force fans out there) so as usual, grass is my favorite. Believe the only game I took something other than the grass starter in was back when I picked up mudkip, because treecko .... well, doesn't look grass-enough for me I suppose ^^;

idk, had enough of Son Gokou in Dragon Ball, dont really need it carried over into pokemon -_-; 1/2 expected that monkey to get a ninbus cloud in its final evolution. Also, am I the only person who thinks it resembles Flamedramon in its final form? (Thats from Digimon, in case anyone is unaware)

piplup is a beast at final form.

There's been alot of movies out there, starting with "March of the Penguins" that got people hooked on the penguins. What got me started was when I watched Madagascar, those penguins are hard to not like (Look at my sig).

Anyway, back on topic. Piplup was my first choice...however, I wish they could change the moves it learns, because I feel that it could have more potential. Maybe have more steel attacks, or maybe an ice attack (I can't believe this penguin doesn't learn any ice attacks). He learns mist...but that's not enough to cover the Ice department.
