Best Sinnoh Starter PKMN

Which is the best one out of the three starter pokemon?

I would have to say the Piplup family, on both my diamond and pearl, I get all 3 on each (lv. 5) and both times I ended up conquering all with Empoleon, even when I chose chimchar as my starter, it didn't get trained as well.

i have an adamant torterra and its way better than my infernape

my empoleon tears up everyone IN-GAME. but i know outside of the game.. its weak.. cause ingame is so easy.


if chimchar's evos looked better, and not random growing metal everywhere.. id choose that..

That's exactly why I didn't want to choose that /b/tarded-lookin' monkey; it would make the game too easy. Also, it's ugly along with the Piplup evolutions...
So, I chose Turtwig and he's awesome and efficient 'cause he's a grass and ground type Pokeman

Torterra gets through the game easily. Empoleon is also able to finish the game without much difficulty. Infernape, on the other hand will encounter much problem with gyarados and other bulky waters especially if its not high level enough. However, Infernape has the greatest battling potential as it can learn a variety of interesting moves and it has a relatively high speed.

2. do you battle with 2 pokemon on both side of the field
3. how long is the game
4. how many pokemon can you catch on 1 version, for example diamond

Yes, yes, took me about 20 hours of gameplay to beat story mode, and between diamond and pearl you can catch every pokemon ever except for legendaries and starters from other versions, you need to transfer those from advanced versions or trade for them.

As for the best starter, Infernape is easily the best in online fighting but all of them do well in story mode.
