Pokemon Diamond Sprite Contest XXV - Important Announcement, pg 19 - Page 2

This is why I don't like finals. I'd have loved to enter a brand-new sprite, but all my compy time at the moment is focused on Black, so a quick touch-up of my second-favorite dragon to date should do.

I suppose big angry monsters just aren't my thing.

okay... ive been working on this sprite for a while and ive ben adding to it by looking at my last judgements and seeing what i needed to fix, etc. and i tried my best to make the red part of the wing not looked fully attached to the body...

Dracinia-Baby Dragon Pokemon
Type:Dragon/Flying
Ability:Dragon Heart(speed and attack is doubled, defense is lowered.)/Intimidate/Moxie(Dream World).
Weight:55.8lbs
Height:2'41"
Gender Ratio:Male/50% Female/50%
While DRACINIA may look cute, there jaws are powerful enough to snap metal. It's fur is as soft as a cloud, and warmed by it's heart. Since they were hunted to near extinction, their trust is hard to earn.They use their wings to make their homes in moutains on high altitudes.
So yeah, basically a cute looking dragon that can snap your head off . I used:
Flareon(Base).
Dragonair(Head).
Bagon(Jaw).
Wartortle(Ear Things).
Charmeleon(Claws, Eye).
Aerodactyl(First half of the tail).
Espeon(Second Half of Tail).
Dragonite(Wings).
Gabite(Blue Colour).
Custom(Red Colour).
Scratch(Fur Edits, Making the tail thinner, Edits done to the ears to make them cuter.)

I love seeing you around again! I do like this sprite, a lot, the shading just bothers me a little. I think it's the contrast, or maybe the amount of shades, it doesn't fit in too well with the new fifth generation standard. Otherwise a very nice sprite, very well representative of the Dragon type!

This looks vaguely familiar, have I looked at something similar to this before Anywho, I don't think this is the best representation of the dragon type, I was honestly thinking Dark. The fusing is nice and neat and clean, and for some reason, even though you didn't use it at all, it looks a little like a Ponyta ReType.

It's a pretty cool idea, but I'm not all too fond of it. I don't like the 'fusing' look you went for with the metal, most steel types look sharp and clean, not messy. I also think there's too much black outline on the belly.

hehe, epic fusion of the dragons. I actually like parts of this, but other parts need a little work. I don't see the purpose of Dragonair's head wings at all, they don't fit in with the color scheme. I'm not a huge fan of the shading on the head, not really where the shades are, but I'd like a little more contrast. It really isn't that bad of a sprite.

Apologies for the brutal honesty, but I'm really not too happy with this sprite. It's just not really a balanced fusion, at all. Usually when spriters fuse Pokemon, they try to keep the fusion as balanced as possible, not fuse on one part or two and call it a day. I would like to see more in your next sprite.

I can tell your careful work on this has paid off, it looks quite nice. I would like to see more black outline on the tail, and the wings. There is also a little bit of outline missing on the front leg.

I like this, but at the same time, there's a few things I want you to fix. First, the fur, the top red section right under the face looks really flat. I also don't like the position of the wings, but that is usually a design thing, as not all Pokemon have their wings in the same place, they just look too low for my taste.

Oh yay, I'm assuming I came in third since I saw no B+.

So any way, would a camel count, or a goat? Or do you want generic stuff like a cow? I've got a good camel/goat idea right now and I'm wondering if I could enter it.

mmmm....goats are farm animals

and i've seen llamas at every field trip to a farm i've been to

so i guess if it was me it would count

Never really seen goats or camels on trips to farms. Oh well, I'll assume it counts.

Goats are fine. Camels... I guess I'd allow it. I mean, the Middle East has farms too, right? And, for the record, llamas work too.
