Like everyone else has said, there isn't any best team. You should have a team that consists of fire, water, electric, ground, and dark/psychic types, but it's all personal preferance. These types cover a wide range of types, if not all of them. My team includes

Bronzong (Steel, Psychic) Nature: Relaxed
Gyro Ball, Calm Mind, Sandstorm, Psychic
Isn't exactly the best moveset since it is mainly used a waller, screen set up, but it suprises many people. Other movesets can include Gyro Ball, Light Screen, Reflect, Rest while holding chesto berry, VERY ANNOYING!

Weavile (Dark, Ice) Nature: Adamant
Ice punch, Night Slash, Brick Break, Aerial Ace
Movesets for Weavile can vary, but this one seems to be the move common. Wide range of type coverages.

Luxray (Electric) Nature:Adamant
Thunderbolt/Thunderfang, Crunch, Ice Fang, Fire Fang
Personally, one of my favorites. You can only learn ice/fire fang through breeding with a pokemon that knows those moves, such as hippodawn. This moveset also covers many types.

Gyarados (Water, Flying) Nature: Adamant
Ice fang, Aqua Tail, Stone Edge/Earthquake, Dragon Dance
What else can you say about gyarados, he packs a punch. Electric attacks destroy him but if you can set up dragon dance on a previous pokemon, he'll usually outspeed anything besides jolteon/electrode and pwn it with an earthquake.

Garchomp (Dragon, Ground) Nature: Adamant
Fire Fang, Earthquake, Brick Break/Crunch, Dragon Rush/Claw
Movesets for Garchomp vary, but this is the most common. This pokemon can hold its ground to pretty much anything, besides an extremely fast ice type, such as weavile. Not many other pokemon outspeed him. I have my bronzong set up sandstorm for my Garchomp, due to his sand veil ability.

Infernape (Fire, Fighting) Nature: Modest
Flamethrower, Grassknot, Calm Mind, Focus Blast/Brick Break/Close Combat
Well, i know this isn't the ideal moveset for infernape, but i badly needed a special sweeper. He can hold his own in most cases, but quick flying and psychic types will have their way. If you wanted a more physical bases infernape, moves and nature would include:

Nature: Adamant
Fire Punch/Flare Blitz, Close Combat, Thunderpunch, Shadow Claw
This moveset does work! Covers weaknesses, and packs a mighty punch. Becoming very common in competitive battling, so people may be anticipating this.
