When it says "Takedown special car in _____" What does that mean? Is that target car in crash mode or what?

Usualy there is a unique or out of place lookin car is some of the races ... take that out for the trophy

This is for high tier vehicle races. Like, if you see the Etnies Racer or the Hot Rod/Custom Special and take it down, you'll achieve the challenge.
