Those are the items i recommend you taking.

Kill count doesent affect if you get a item or not, and it doesent affect how good the item is neither, it only affect how many racks and runes you get.

In fact,it affects like nothing. I did 100 kill count and got 30 racks and 30 bloods,i nearly sh*t myself laughing when i saw that.


Right after the trip i posted 41 dry did 26 kill count since i had 3k to atk level,leveled to 97 combat and....

Karil is weakest against melee, so if you have good melee stats and a decent weapon, that's the best approach. If you want, you can mage him, but he has fairly good magic defence and it will take longer than meleeing.

Yes, Verac can hit through Protect from Melee, but not all the time. Just as with the other special abilities, Verac only hits through prayer randomly, so it's still a good idea to pray against him. Same goes for wearing armour, he can hit through it sometimes, but others it's just his flail against your armour.

Yep, Dragon Scimitars are a popular weapon against him because it has a good slash attack, which is Karil's weakest defence. Give it a go and see what you think. Depending on your stats, you should be able to kill him fairly quickly.

still, practise seems that the last brother you kill (not tunnel) gives you an item more often than not, and having a kc of 18 hightens your chances. I believe that is one way of the triple item ? Anyhow, i once got full ahrims that way, staff hood and bottom. got the bottom the next trip, followed by a 93 trip dry run

Yep, kill count does not affect the chances of a barrows item at all, straight from Jagex.
