Hi everyone, tis me again back to revive this thread. Runescape has moved on alot since i last posted my thoughts here so as usual i have more ideas to give. Since this thread is so old now and most of my ideas are construction related, i might as well just post up all of my player owned house ideas! Be warned, this is gonna be a LONG post House stylesAt current, there are only 6 house styles you can choose from. You get these from the estate agents and each one offers its own texture of field and house. Whilst this has proved sucessful, they havnt improved on what you can choose from ever since the skill came out, this is where my first idea comes in. My idea is the introduction of unlockable house styles through the use of a new item, house deeds. Deeds are scrolls which give you the ownership of a peice of land in a certain area. In simpler words, if you get a deed for a particular area (eg. mortania), you can take it to an estate agent and he will confirm (unlock) that you own a patch of land in that area which you can now build on and use the field and house style of that area. As far as i can think, there are 3 possible ways to obtain a house deed:
- Reward from a lvl 3 clue scroll
- Construction random idea 1 where you fall into a hidden cavern below your house whilst construction something and find a chest. You have to complete a puzzle (maybe a sliding puzzle or a sudoku grid) to unlock the chest and inside you find a deed
- Construction random idea 2 where a travelling estate merchant offers you a deed as reward for sucsessfully giving the location of 3 pictures which he shows you one by one

Each deed has its own field texture and its own building texture just like any other house style. After you have given a deed to an estate agent, you may swap your house theme to these at a given price (as usuall). The themes you can unlock are:
- Mortania deed: Green swampy field with rotting wood building texture, 15000gp
- Tzhaar deed: Black floor with red glowing effect (just like the tzhaar) and dark spikey stone building texture, 30000gp
- Polar deed: White icey floor with white brick building texture, 20000gp
- Jungle deed: Lush green floor with bamboo building texture, 35000gp
- Isalfdar deed: Bright aqua floor with crystal building texture, 50000gp
There are also holiday deeds which are given out at each holiday event for members. There are only 3 holiday deeds but the same one is given out on the same holiday each year so if you missed it one year, you can just get it the next. To get these holiday deeds you must wait for a holiday event to start and talk to diango when you have completed the event. Unlike other house styles and deeds, these have a special area effect which is different for each theme. If you unlock a holiday deed, you keep it forever even after the event has ended. Here are the 3 themes:
- Easter deed: Lush green floor with wooden building texture. There are small birds flying around the area, many flowers in unused spaces and colourful plants growing on the outside of the house, 10000gp
- Halloween deed: Dead black floor with black brick building texture. There is a thick fog effect on the floor outside the house which stays very low down on the floor (like a fog blanket), 10000gp
- Christmas deed: Snow covered floor, wooden walls, snow covered foof with icicles growing down textures. There is a snow falling effect active outside the house just like near the snow hunting area, 10000gp
Do note, all deeds are none tradable so you must earn them yourself House surroundingsCurrently around your house, there is a large open field and then nothing, the map just goes black and turns to nothing. This is really uncreative and not that nice to look at so why not add a little something in the black void depending on your house style. So for peaceful house styles there could be water there like your own little island, or a dense forest so its like a clearing in the woods. Lakes of lava or swamps for my deeds ideas perhaps or a dense snow/ sand storms for icey or desert areas. Just anythign to fill in that blank space around your land! House keysFor those of you who have a grand house with an amazing construction lvl, theres nothing more you'd want to do than to show off right? Problem is you have to be actually inside your house to do this so a simple idea is to allow for house key privlages. You could set your house to allow anyone in at any time or allow more advanced settings. This could work with the clan chat so those you set as something have different privleges to other people
- Those who have not been set to anything cannot enter without you there
- Those set to friend can enter without you there but whilst your online. Once a friend is in the house, other people may enter
- Those set to general can enter without the need for you to be online. Once a general is in the house, other people may enter
- Those who are on the ignore list may never enter
Obviously no-one can enter in design view except you but this gives the chance for people to see your hard work without the need for you to stay there all the time Room rotationThis is something i've always wanted, the ability to rotate rooms in the house without the need to actually delete the room and rebuild it. I dont mind if it means paying a small fee for it but this is something that is desperatly needed! Perhaps even expanding this to rotating the whole house could be a good idea too PetsThe list of runescape pets has expanded alot with the addition of summoning so a place to put them is greatly needed. Your house could be used to house all these pets under certain curcumstances and here is the list on how i think they'll fit in:
- Cats and dogs: probably the main pets people would keep in their house and a simple way to include them. At the moment there is a cat basket in the kitchen, by simply renaming it "basket" it can be used to hold either a cat or a dog. If you want to hold both a cat and a dog at the same time, one of them could use a bedroom bed as a place to sleep. Another thing you could do is leave something for them to play with. So for cats you could leave a ball of wool and for dogs maybe a long bone so it can sit down and chew on it randomly. Big note, you should be able to keep your cat and dog in the house and be able to leave them and log out without any problems. So when you leave and come back another day, they are still in the house roaming around doing their general pet things
- Birds: these, like cats and dogs, should be able to be kept in the house at all times without problem of leaving. To keep them in the house, you need a tree of sorts somewhere in your garden. When left in the house, they'll fly around the house or the area surrounding it, maybe land and walk about a bit or land on the roof of the house
- Squirrel, racoon and monkey: These will also be kept at all time in the house if needed and just roam about outside or inside sometimes. To keep these all you need is a tree of sorts somewhere in your garden
- Platypus and penguin: These again should be able to stay in the house and simply roam about. To keep them all you need is a body of water somwhere in your garden (pond or fountain)
- Gecko and chameleon: Just like all other pets, they should be able to stay in the house and roam. To keep them you need a rock of sorts in your garden (rockery or dungeon entrance)
- Dragon: These should have full access to the house so it can roam outside the house, inside and in the dungeon if it wants, nothing needed to keep it in the house
- Pet rock: Novelty pet i know so it should be able to stay anywhere in the garden and do simply nothing
- Fish and crabs: Yes fish the forgotten pet should have a place in the house. I'm thinking of an aquarium/ fish tank in a corner of the study room. At current, there are 3 types of fish and a crab which you can have. I think that a tank which you can make progressivly larger should be used to hold these:
- Fish bowl: lvl 45, molten glass, 2 oak planks, just a fish bowl on a stand basically, holds 1 creature
- Fish tank: lvl 60, 2 molten glass, 2 teak planks, seaweed, a simple looking fish tank on a stand, holds 2 creatures
- Aquarium: lvl 75, 3 molten glass, 2 mahogany planks, 2 seaweed, gold leaf, a grand looking fish tank, holds all 4 creatures
Obviously pets wont have any important role in the house or any real use. However while doing construction work, it is quite deserted so it would be a novel idea to see your pets around the house while your working or having parties Clue scrollsI know that construction has recently been given stuff from the clue scroll update but so much more could be done! Here are a few ideas which i think could be added as clue scroll rewards for construction:
- Rare materials: Currently clues give basic materials such as nails and planks, what about the rare materials? I think a good layout would be lvl 1's give gold leaf, lvl 2's give marble and lvl 3's give magic stones. I know these cost quite a bit so maybe make them slightly rare (not too much) so people without much money have a chance at getting them
- House portals: No matter what your construction lvl and no matter how grand your house is, you are always left with that ugly black house portal. The ability to change its appearence would be a great addition. This can be done with 2 simple additions in clues, the embeleshed silver portal and grand golden portal. The silver portal comes from lvl 2's and basically the same portal but with a silver colour. The golden portal comes from lvl 3's and again is basically the same portal with perhaps a few more flowers coming off it or something and a nice golden colour. Simply delete your old house portal and use the new one on the spot where it was to change it. It has all the same functions as he normal house portal but is a different colour. It would be up to jagex weather to change the portal colour itself aswell but i'm not too fussed about what it is
- Tapestries: This is one of the main ideas i've been thinking about. Currently in your throne room and treasure room, there is a spot to put up a shield with your herald on it. Whilst this is great and all, 2 shields are put up side by side which (to anyone with an eye for design) doesnt look good, this is where my idea comes in. Tapestries are large cloths (like a towel) with a design on it which is hung up on the wall, this could easily take up the 2 shield spots
Now tapestries can be made to show a number of different designs and luckily there are a range of clue lvls so here is my ideas on how they can be spread:
- Lvl 1's give simple plain tapestries. These take 3 oak planks (and the tapestry) and lvl 66 con to make. Its a basic blank design in an oldish brown colour and the herald symbol in the middle
- Lvl 2's give red, blue and green tapestries. These each take 4 teak planks and lvl 76 con to make. The red tapestry has a fiery design with the symbol in the centre, the blue one has a watery design and the green one a leafy design
- Lvl 3's give royal and dark tapestries. These each take 5 mahogany planks, 2 gold leaves and lvl 86 on to make. The royal tapestry has a white colour with elegent golden designs around it and the symbol in the centre. The dark tapestry has a black colour with the general evil designs round it and the emblem in the centre
- Water features: Why not get special water features to go in the place of your regular old fountains? Like a statue of a person with a pond around them and a fountain coming out. Or a statue of a dragon on an island or a nature themes one like the nature alter in the mortania swamp. Maybe even the lvl clues could give a large statue with plants on it and streams coming down it. There is so much that could be done here
GardensThese have been done pretty well but a few things could be added like the various stuff i've mentioned in previous sections. There could also be the option to have fruit trees as yor centrepiece. These would include apple trees, orange trees or white trees. You could get white trees by either planting a cutting of the white tree or a white fruit WorkshopThe workshop is good but could be better so here is a couple of ideas:
- Anvils: How can there be a workshop without the good old anvil? By simply adding an anvil hotspot in the corner of the room, you could allow the smithing skill to be used here. Ofcourse there are different lvls of anvils so heres how i think they'll work:
- Simple anvil: lvl 16 con, requires 5 iron bars, allows you to smith up to steel items. Its just a small looking anvil
- Blacksmiths anvil: lvl 41 con, requires 5 steel bars, allows you to smith up to mithril items. Its a slightly larger and brighter anvil
- Masters anvil: lvl 66 con, requieres 10 steel bars, allows you to smith all items. Its a large anvil on a metal stand
- Saw bench: This is one of the things jagex has been avoiding all this time, the ability to cut logs into planks yourself! This idea actually makes it feasable. The saw bench is another upgrade to the workbench, it requiers lvl 85 con, a bench with lathe, 2 oak planks and a steel bar. To cut a log on a bench, you need 10 woodcutting lvls over the lvl needed to cut the log in the first place. I think the reason jagex has avoided this is because they want us to spend money on construction (which is silly) so lets say that theres a chance you could cut the log wrong whislt doing this thus costing money though loss of logs
BedroomThe main item in the bedroom is ofcourse the bed, yet it has no option. Why not allow for an option to sleep in the bed (1 at a time ofcourse) and recover hp and run energy and a much increased rate. There is already a sleep animation with the lunar spell sleep so adapting it to the bed should be no problem
A second novel idea came when jagex released the teddy bear item from the digsite quest. At current it doesnt have any real use so it would be cute to keep it on the bed so it sits up on it. Then when you use the sleep option, you could grab the bear or (linking to my pets idea) your pet could jump on the bed and play with it HallsThe skill hall and the quest hall is long since due for a update so here is my list for these:
- Stairs or rugs: At the moment, the centre of the room can only be either stairs or a rug, why not both? In a world where dragons exist and wizards roam the land, i'm pretty sure its not out of the bounds of possibility for a rug to be placed under some stairs. Just seperate the hotspot into 2 hotspots, one for the stairs and another for the rug. Its a simple idea but with great results
- Fishing trophies: This is one of the things that anoyed me about the fishing trophie. Killing the KQ or KBD requieres alot of skill, let alone getting a head from them. Fishing sharks however is not hard to do because sharks are one of the mass fished meats. Because they are fished on a large scale, it is too easy to get a big fish from them at some point and them call it the best fishing trophie. So we are left with the problem of finding a fish that is a higher lvl than sharks and is not mass fished, there is one! The manta ray is possibly the least seen fish around, its tough to get on its own, its not mass fished and its actually the next in the pattern of fishing lvls. Getting a big version of this fish will be a true fishermans test and so is actually the perfect fishing trophie! It would need lvl 96 con, 2 mahogany planks and 2 gold leaves to make
- Guild trophies: I bet at the moment, the guild trophy you have at the moment is the glory ammy because its the only one that has any use. Why not give the other trophies a use too. So the antifire shield one will give you protection from dragonfire aslong as its up and the legends cape will give you a 15% boost on your equipments att+def for stab, slash and crush bonuses. This should tempt some people to try out the other trophies aswell as the glory trophie
- Swords: The sword displays where supposed to show the weapons you have aquiered over the many quests you have completed, but many quests have been made since then and the selection you can choose from hasnt changed. Some swords and weaons have now gotten so big that a larger plaque would be needed to hold them so lets say lvl 65 con and 3 mahogany planks for them. Here is the list of melee weapons that should be added to choose from:
- Wolfbane dagger: small plaque
- Burite sword: large plaque
- Bone spear: large plaque
- Gadderhammer: large plaque
- Keris: small plaque
- Barrelchest anchor: large plaque
- Brine sabre: small plaque
- Ancient mace: small plaque
- Staffs: Mages also have a wide variety of items from quests and so should be able to place them in the quest hall too. Ofcourse a large plaque would be needed to hold these so it would have the same requierments as the large plaque as above
Here is a list of staffs that could be added:
- Ancient staff
- Ivandis staff/ flail
- Lunar staff
- Iban staff
- Item display: There have also been many items that have been given in quests that could be put on display on a stand in the corner of the quest hall (see pic above). These would need either a small or large stand which corrisponds to the small and large plaques on quest weapons. A quick list of stuff to include would be:
- Gladrials urn and pebble: small stand
- Golden helmet: small stand
- Helm of nietiznot: small stand
- Ram skull/ bonesack: small stand
- Bearhead: small stand
- Dwarven helm: small stand
- Ghostly robes: Large stand
- Elemental/ mind equipment: large stand
- robes of elindis: large stand
- Maps and paintings: Currently we can put up paintings and maps in your house, but we cant actually view them! We should be able to look at the painting and maps via a view option. The small map could show only non members areas, the medium map could show all surface areas and the large maps could show the underground too!
Games roomThe games room has possibly one of the largest ideas i've come up with. The idea is a new hotspot in the corner of the room which is the games table and 2 seats. The burthop games room has these and this is going to be an expansion on it
There are 3 different games tables, each one with more games in them increasing in difficulty. You can challenge anyone in the games room in the normal way by right clicking people. You then choose from a list of games and start playing like the burthop games. As usual people can view the game thats being played by clicking on the table. Below is the list of games and details:
- Basic table: lvl 45 con, 3 oak planks, 1 cloth to make. It has a simple square table and simple looking stools, offers basic games
- 3 link: basically naughts and crosses
- Runedraw: The idea is each player draws runes from a bag in turn untill they either have 5 runes or draw the death rune. Each rune only comes up once and each one has a different value. Air-1, water-1, earth-2, fire-2, mind-3, body-4, cosmic-5, chaos-6, nature-7, blood-9, soul-10. At the end, the person with the most points wins and the person who draws the death rune auto looses
- Simple sudoku: 4x4 grid, played just as the small grid in the ali morrison minigame
- Advanced table: lvl 65 con, 4 teak planks, 2 cloth, 2 limestone to make. It is a table just like the burthop games room and fancy teak stools, offers advanced and the basic games above
- Runelink: basically connet 4 just like in burthop
- Runeversi: just like in burthop
- Runesquares: just like in burthop
- Slimeball: This is basically a game of battleships. The story is there is an army of ships attacking a town with blue slime and the town is fighting back with green slime. You can choose from either the land side or the sea side when begining the game. You see 2 grids at the same time, the bottom one being your side so you can see where you put your pieces, the top is the other side where you cant see the other sides pieces. If you miss a shot, the slime turns up on the top grid in the same colour as usual, if you hit something the slime turns red on the top grid. When you fully destroy an object, it shows up wrecked and covered in slime on the top grid. Basicly, if you loose all your pieces, you loose the game! Below is the pieces you can use:
- 1x 2 sqaures long, shed for land, rowing boat for sea
- 2x 3 squares long, house for land, charter boat for sea
- 1x 4 squares long, store for land, galleon for sea
- 1x 5 squares long, mansion for land, battleship for sea
- Master table: lvl 85 con, 5 mahogany planks, 1 marble, 3 cloth, 4 wool, 2 gold leaves to make. Looks just like the burthop tables but with white tops, fluffy topped stools with gold rims, offers master games and all of above
- Large sudoku: Just like the ali morrison minigame
- Draughts: Just like in burthop
- Castle siege: Basically chess with pieces based on runescape gods. As i can see, there are 6 possible sets you can choose from each with its own colour. Saradomin is blue, zammorak is red, guthix is green, zaros is purple, bandos is black and armadyl is white. Each set has its own pieces based on the actual chess pieces:
- King: saradomin (s), zammy (zm), guthix (g), zaros (za), bandos (b), armadyl (a)
- Queen: archangel (s), iban (zm), juna the snake (g), bob the cat (za), graardor (b), kreearra (a)
- Bishop: preist (s), abby demon (zm), druid (g), necromancer (za), zogre (b), aviansie (a)
- knight: paladin (s), hellhound (zm), centaur (g), anubis warrior (za), cyclops (b), hawk (a)
- Castle (rook): mage (s), greater demon (zm), dryad (g), undead dragon (za), jogre (b), wingman (a)
- Pawn: monk (s), imp (zm), gnome (g), skeleton (za), goblin (b), eagle (a)
Costume roomThis room is done really well but i think balancing out the numbers of how many sets the boxes can hold is needed
- Fancy dress box: Oak holds 2, teak holds 5, mahogany hold all
- Armor case: Oak holds 5, teak holds 10, mahogany holds all
Study* Telescope: all that happens when you look through it is you say you see something. We really need to be able to look through the telescope and be able to look around the sky, make it useful
- Charts: just like the maps, we should be able to view these charts and look around the conselations and such, just for fun
- Connecting with my pets idea, a fish tank hotspot should be in the study in a corner. See the pets section for details
SummoningWhat with summoning, our house could do with a summoning obelisk. I think the best place for it would be in a corner of the chapel and is split up into 3 levels of construction
- Small obelisk: lvl 50 con, lvl 20 summoning, 50 spirit shards, 10 gold charms to make. Looks just like a small summoning rock and can be used to refill summoning points
- Medium obelisk: lvl 65 con, lvl 40 summoning, 250 spirit shards, 100 gold/ green/ crimson charms to make. Looks just like the small obelisks around runescape and gives a small summoning points bonus
- Large obelisk: lvl 80 con, lvl 60 summoning, 1000 spirit shards, 500 gold/ green/ crimson charms, 50 blue charms to make. Looks like the large charged obelisks, gives a summoning points bonus and can make scrolls
Portal chamberThe portals could be updated a little bit to offer a few more options
- Moonclan portal: We have a portal from the ancient spellbook so we really need one for the lunar spellbook. If not the moonclan teleport, the waterbirth teleport, or both!
- Teleother scrying: An interesting idea is to be able to use a scrying pool to view what a friend is doing. To do this you need to first put in 100 law runes and 100 soul runes to unlock this option. You dont make a teleother portal, but instead make a teleother scry option for a scrying pool. How it works is you enter the name of the person you want to view and a message comes up for that person asking if they want to allow you to view them. If they say yes you see whatever the chosen character can, ofcourse you can move the camera around and such but the camera follows wherever the character goes. This will be useful to see them against a runescape boss or event. This only works if you can see the person on your friends list, you are not on their ignore list and they say yes
Throne room *Champions throne: Currently there is not much of a reward for completing the champions challenge minigame. All you get in the end is a fight with the champion of the humans and then a title, thats it. I think you should be able to get more from that! For instance you could take the throne sash thats on the throne in the champions guild and put it on your throne in your house. Also you could have the ability to use the human herald which is basically 3 golden lions on a deep blue background. We really need some more of a reward for doing all this and having these cool little extras could be a good addition
- Angelic throne: For those who are planning their house or have built their house i'm sure you have come across the problem of weather to buid a demonic throne or have a crystal one. The problem is the crystal throne doesnt really look that good and the demonic throne doesnt look very appealing if your not into that evil look. One possibility to solve this is make an angelic throne just like the demonic one. It will need the same requierments but instead of being firey and evil it would look white and gold with feathers instead of flames and look nice. Its just good to have a choice in weather to have a good or evil looking throne cus its not really fair to say if you are to have the best throne you must have an evil look
- Look in the clues section for the details on the tapestries idea
Trophy hallThis is the only idea of mine that needs a new room. This is a room that will hold trophies (statues), each of which represent a particular combat skill. I have put alot of thought into this and this section is going to be quite a bit to understand fully so i'll try and say this as simply as possible. Below is the layout of the room:

The room itself needs lvl 55 con, the rug and carpets have the basic options on them (torn-opulent), the wall decorations have the normal options too. The statue hotspots link into an idea i shall explain in the general section
The stands is where the real point to this room come in. There are 5 statues that are in this room, each representing a combat style (melee, mage, range, prayer and summoning). Now what is the point of these trophies other than good looks, each one gives a stat bonus in whatever field they represent. To begin this, you first need to make the trophie stands to hold them. There are 2 different types of stand each of which can be made out of 4 materials. There are 4 small stands and 1 large one for summoning. Below are the details of stands:
- Oak stand
- Small: 3 oak planks, lvl 60 con
- Large: 5 oak planks, lvl 78 con
- Teak stand
- Small: 3 teak planks, 1 cloth, lvl 70 con
- Large: 5 teak planks, 1 cloth, lvl 85 con
- Mahogany stand
- Small: 3 mahogany planks, 2 cloth, lvl 80 con
- Large: 5 mahogany planks, 2 cloth, lvl 92 con
- Marble stand
- Small: 1 marble block, 3 cloth, 1 gold leaf, lvl 90 con
- Large: 2 marble blocks, 3 cloth, 2 gold leaf, lvl 99 con
Once you have made the stand, you can then construct the trophie ontop of them. Trophies come in 4 degrees of quality, depending on what they are made out of. These are bronze, silver, gold and guilded. Guilded is made up of gold and white leaf. White leaf is made by randomly mining a white gold ore (1 in 150 chance), smelting it into a white bar (60 smithing), and then smithing it into white leaf. The better the trophie, the better the stand is needed. Here are the details of making the statues:
- Bronze: any stand required
- Small: 5 bronze bars, lvl 60 con
- Large: 10 bronze bars, lvl 78 con
- Silver: teak and above stands required
- Small: 5 silver bars, 2 primary gems, lvl 70 con
- Large: 10 silver bars, 2 primary gems, lvl 85 con
- Gold: mahogany or marble stands required
- Small: 5 gold bars, 3 primary gems, 1 diamond, lvl 80 con
- Large: 10 gold bars, 3 primary gems, 1 diamond, lvl 92 con
- Guilded: Marble stand required
- Small: 7 gold bars, 2 white leaves, 3 primary gems, 1 power gem, 2 diamonds, lvl 90 con
- Large: 14 gold bars, 3 white leaves, 3 primary gems, 1 power gem, 2 diamonds, lvl 99 con
Gems play a large role in the statues and the bonuses they give. Primary gems are gems that are different for each trophie, depending on what element of combat they represent. Each trophy follows the same basic shape, a figure ontop of a base with 1 gem on the figure and the rest arranged on the base. Here is a basic picture of a set using the mage trophies as an example:

Because each trophie represents a different piece of combat, each figure on the top looks different. Below are the details on the trophy designs and gem info
- Mage
- Primary is sapphire, power is dragonstone
- Raises mage att and def of all equipment worn
- Shape is a mage holding up a staff and book with a sapphire as the top of the staff. Guilding is around the staff edges, base, book and robes
- Range
- Primary is emerald, power is dragonstone
- Raises range att and def of all equipment worn
- Shape is a ranger drawing back an arrow on his bow with an emerald as the arrow tip. Guilding is on the arrow, around the dhide and base
- Melee
- Primary is ruby, power is dragonstone
- Raises strength bonus of all equipment worn
- Shape is a warrior holding up a sword with a ruby in the hilt of the sword. Guilding is around the armor, base and hilt
- Prayer
- Primary is diamond, power is dragonstone
- Raises prayer bonus of all equipment worn
- Shape is a monk holding an open book with a diamond as his amulet. Guilding is around the book, base and robes
- Summoning
- Primary is dragonstone, power is onyx
- Raises summoning att and def of all equipment worn and keeps familiars out for longer
- Shape is a dragon with its wing outstreched guarding a dragonstone. Guilding is on the claws, horns, base and rims on the wings
As for the bonuses these trophies give, it depends on what they are made out of and what enchantments are on the trophies. Note, the effect of keeping familiars out longer, are double the following %'s:
- No enchantments and just the statue: +5%
- Primary gems enchanted with respective spell: another +5%
- Diamonds enchanted with diamond enchant: another +5%
- Power gem enchanted with respective spell: another +10%
So overall, a guilded trophie could give +25% stat bonus to its repective skill. These bonuses will keep happening untill you remove the trophies. Each trophy will have a view option and one with enchantments on it will give off little sparkles just for that cool look. I really hope you've understood this section as its the most complicated section i've come up with so thoughts on this would really help HuntingThere are many places hunting could be included. Here are a few places where they could be included:
- Kebit curtains: Using falconry kebit fur to make hunting fur curtains for that hunters look
- Hunting rugs: Using the furs of larupia, graahk or kyatts to make fur rugs instead of normal rugs
- Tortoise tables: In places like the kitchen, you could use giant tortoise shells to make tortoise tables which are basicially the shell on the floor. This idea actually came from the postbag and 1 particular picture:
- Stuffed creatures: In the skills hall you could put up stuffed larupias, graahks or kyatts in a pouncing stance. And in the other corner you could put up a display with a kebits, imps, butterflys, salmanaces
- Wall decorations: Perhaps having some captured butterflys or birds instead of plaques on the walls to finish off that hunters look
General updates
- Opulent rugs: we used a gold leaf on these things yet we dont actually see where our gold went. There should be a gold rim around these so we can see what actually happened to our gold! Maybe even offer us different colours of rugs. Here is a picture of 4 different colours in 2 places and the gold rim around the rug. Surely it cant be hard to adapt this to our houses if it already exists:
- Fireplaces: Currently if we want to light our fires, we have to go outside to cut some then bring the logs back in. The fire in fireplaces should be burning all the time without us actually having to go out and get some logs. In a place of fantasy and magic, i'm pretty sure we can afford having a perpetual fire in our fireplace
- Statues/ busts: Just a small idea, what if we could have small statues/ busts around our house like in the dining room, throne room and halls. They would ofcourse have different lvls of making them
- Clay: 10 soft clay, lvl 55 con
- Limestone: 10 limestone, lvl 65 con
- Marble: 2 marble, 1 gold leaf, lvl 80 con
- magicstone: 1 magicstone, 1 gold leaf, lvl 95 con
Phew, that should be all of the ideas i've ever made concerning construction. I hope you've understood it all so please put up your thoughts about it, ask questions if you want, i want to hear what you think about my ideas!
