He's most certainly right about the .file_store_32 directory!

Do you know what that means?! If you want every song in runescape, you can just go to the locations (make sure you only go to 5 at a time) Rename those to the original name (there stored as jingle0-jingle4)

Then you have acces to every runescape tune in the game Now f2p would have member sounds (that is if somebody uploads the music...)

WEll is like, if you dont install CD game into ur HDD, will that game run on computer?? This is like a cache, the downloaded rs content stored on HDD so it load alot faster from HDD rather being redownload and play. If a MMORPG is 200MB, and you need to take 1 hour or more to download and start the game.. And well, RS is fed through the internet, only commands feed through, example like when you clicking on things, data will send over internet to server saying that you making a.... move, eating, killing whatever.. That's it, not even RS, the site you visited each page, graphic, flash movie, anything that on the site you've accessed will also store in your computer as well. This is called cache. Anything you want to know more?

Also what you mean about "gobbledigook"? That isn't sounds pleasent!

EDIT: freeze1987 i finnaly got your meaning, but that will not work, coz .. when you downloaded member tunes, only playable in WMP or winamp mp3 players, if you copy that to the cache folder, it will get overwrite agian when you want to play and clicking on other tunes name, if you changed file name, RS applet will not detect any other midi file than RS defeut midi file name (jingle0-jingle4) Unless you crack the applet, i can't anyway, lazy to hack

Wait wait a sec!! I got few questions,
1 What you mean about those 2 map? Isnt't the same map?
2 How you play it? it wont get overwrited? Like after you played music named "A" track than removed it, placed a "B" track and click on named "A" to play "B" track? and you think that the RS applet won't redownload agian coz the applet thinks that "A" track still exist??
3 How you get all track? Only able when you're a member to get em right!?
4 So those process is about download all midi and store with your own or about play em on RS?

there are several things that they don't store on your HD any more. your caracter being one of them. and the musit is not redownloaded every time. that would take to long. they most likely keep trak of what songs u have unlocked on your caracter info. and when they find that 1 of the files is a conflicting 1 to what they have they mostlikly make you redownload the files that are conflicting with what they have so that the match. note: thay do not do this with your caracter. your caracter as i sated above is not stored on your HD.

Is it true the character information used to be stored in your registry and could be edited to bump your stats up?
