Warning new Cheat!

Im not sure whether i should put this is the scamming thread but you all need to read.

I recently was buying an item for 30k on free world.
On both screens the item was there. But as i clicked accept on the second screen i did not recieve the item i payed for the the guy took my money.

I reported him but i bet he dont get a ban

So now im down to 14k cash

Oh and to let you know the scammers name is: Pikkusumi.

He must have used a cheat program or something!.

Just to let you know be careful!

Oh and if anyone wants to give me any money to feel better u can do but i aint begging

I don't thing so mystic... Riggster just said that on both screens there was the item, even on the trade screen.
I saw a guy yelling a scam in world one, so it might be possible that they already found a loophole in rs2...

I know this scam.

Its not hard at all once you learned it.
You can do this with a program.

You change the value of the money in the game.
Even though you cant higher the money with it.

You are able to lower it so you can prise scam someone.
I even got scammed once by this.

God this makes me worry about buying anything now... least the good old NPC's don't know this trick

If you really check the second trade screen.
And check if the prise is correct.

Then everything will be fine.
This scam can only happen in the first trade screen.
Not the second.

Well sky, reading and considering your two reply's here, you got scammed but the program, but somehow I get the feeling you used this program yourself... I know this is offtopic, but you weren't banned for nothing. And you admitted that you scammed yourself, so... pm me what's the deal eh??? I won't see you any diffrent, nor would I bring it into public here if you did... so pm me!

I'm going to put this into the commom scam thread once I know how it's called... google can be mirakulous sometimes... runescape + lower money scam... bound to find something

I keep track of it myself for the common scams, but I haven't found this one. I wasn't entirely sure about him using it in the past, but it can still be possible...

I only know one scam with regedit, and that's how you level up your stats. But that's long ago, it doesn't work anymore. Your stats were saved at your own pc and you could just adjust them to any you'd like.

No skyrider never didnt scam, all he did was be ban in the "Big Ban of '04" and it was because when he was keylogged and hacked he mostly likely had an autominer used on his account.

Freeze- regEDIT scams are very common on most mMorph games, and yes Freeze, there are quite a few RegEdit's on RS i can assure you.

There are ways to download your runescape client directly into your RegEDIT, though its costly if caught, i guess its a stealthy move fir them hackers out there.

And though you can do this, the stat changing through RegEDIT wont work, because of the constantly updating every 2 hour highscores recently released by Jagex, smart move on there part.
