Changes to the Beta

Forgive me for not trying it myself, but I am fairly busy with other things at the moment but should have more free time soon. So i was just wondering how the EoC has changed since its release in the summer? Also if the changes have made anything thing maybe it isn't such a bad idea.

If anyone has information on Strength and prayer bonuses and if void is still decent equipment or not, that would be helpful too.

You don't need 96 Herblore to drink Overloads, that was only for beta reasons (ie: people with 20 herblore shouldn't be able to drink Overloads that they got from the beta shops).

There's too many to mention, a few from the top of my head:

- Ability interface is now a lot cleaner and easier to take in (as opposed to the list with scrollbar we had before)
- Auto-attacks have been increased in damage, abilities slightly less (so you're not forced to abilityspam to deal decent damage)
- Polypore spells have been readded
- GWD armour has been slightly nerfed to have Nex armour better stand out (GWD is equal to Barrows now, excluding the prayer bonus and the fact that it doesn't degrade)
- Prayer bonuses have been added to armour interface

That's all I can think of at the moment.

After the information I have been given (thanks guys) and also following the updates over the past couple of the days, I have to say my opinion has changed a little for the better and I suppose I am rather optimistic which is worrying.

The recent article (12/11/2012) has been a big influence on my opinion especially these points:

Combat Triangle

significantly increased the hit chance for users in either the same or negative side of the triangle as a result

Potions & Herblore

Following your feedback, these have been powered up and given a serious boost compared to the beta.

Prayer

There is a general consensus that it is currently underpowered in the beta; therefore, at launch, it will be significantly stronger than in the current beta version.

All in all it "Reads" like they have listened to players and have made the right amendments but I guess we can not really be sure until the update is out. Any thoughts on the current article?
