	Log in to remove this sponsored message Many of you may remember me others may not. I want to pick the game up again but it always stops at searching for updates 6% and will not go further. If it is a block by my ISP or windows is there a way for me to bypass by perhaps getting into game on another computer and saving the files on a flashdrive then transferring to my computer? Any help is much appreciated. -------------------

Last time I checked Runey had no update bars(or at least mine goes so fast I don't notice it anymore) or game files to install And hi Anthony Do come back! Suggestions Different Browser (Chrome, IE, FireFox, Opera) lear Cache and cookies and all that (Might help?) You could also try RS official forums, they might have a grasp on it. Edit: In Drive C: There is a folder (right in the root) called .jagex_cache32 which you could delete. 	As you log in and the load bar goes across there is a section called checking for updates that mine stalls at. I think it must be something to do with weird dl restrictions on my college Internet. Anyway once I get past it I know it works. P.s. Hello Ashton remember that week I double speared and you wouldn't talk to me for three days? -------------------

	I had the same problem before and there is a way to bypass it , runescape has a program that doesn't need you to open The Internet , I don't kno where it is just search for it on the official website it's somewhere there -------------------

	Are you ready for a real brain buster. I have downloaded the client and it still does not work properly when loading the game code. I can not figure out what is wrong. It is almost as if my computer will not allow it to write the files to the folder or something. -------------------

What internet do u use, the higer the # after internet explorer, the better (the client requires 5.5 or higher) this goes up to 8, try to download 8 then if u still have trouble, then ur screwed EDIT: i found that i put hight instead of higher, so i fixed it.
