If it's an issue with your ISP (IE. losing connection to the Internet a lot) then there's nothing that the RS Client can do; however if you're just experiencing lag then you can try changing the graphics settings in-game. Try running the client on the lowest detail possible and then slowly increase the settings one-by-one until your computer is comfortable.

I kind of want to get back into playing Runescape after a long time out, been out of it for about 2/3 years, and after logging in last night for the first time in a long time.

Probably going to become a member sooner rather than later as theres not a lot I can do F2P right now.
