Well since I got nothing better to do I've decided to attempt fight caves and maybe I might be able to get a fire cape.

But since I have no idea what I'm doing I need some help with set-up and inventory.

Here are my stats: (don't know if some of these matter but)

However i might suggest with your range i'd just go with the Verac\Karil and brew setup. Swap out the Crystal bows for maybe an obsidian shield or even a Zammy book and Rune Cbow with diamond bolts. Oh and cape for accumulator. You wont need more than 1k bolts.

i recommend getting your defence up. but thats all.

also, with 75+ defence, and 90+ range, fight caves is very easy without spending to much money. a simple granite sheild, nezzy helm, and prossy tasset (skirt) and the rest range gear will give you great defence and you can get though the caves with absolutely no problem.

Yeah, I read that guide, and the 2nd method is definitely what you need to do. I doubt it will be a big challenge for you at 99 range, but you might want to watch some youtube videos before you attempt it, and there's some at the very bottom of that guide.

Diamond bolts for the whole thing?
From guides I've read people used addy for the whole cave and like took 150 diamonds for Jad.

Also what's the difference between addy and broad bolts? Some people tell me addy is better, but some people say its the same.

and maybe more then 1 bolt

Archer rings are hard to sell back so I'd rather not buy one unless it has a pray bonus. Lumby ring has +1 pray.

Also I'm bringing more than 1 bolt lol :/

Also bought a fury so I think that will be my final setup equipment wise.

addy bolts are slightly better than broads, but with your range level I think broads will be more than sufficient.


and same with the ring, your range level means you don't need to go all out for range bonus so the explorer ring is probably fine

Becuase with diamond bolts and your range level you'd kill almost every 360 in less than 20 seconds. Saving you alot of prayer. Becuase your inexperienced you'll need as many super restores left as possible to reset your stats after drinking brews. Whats the problem with 1k diamond bolts arent they like 200k nowadays (i havent played in like 6 months haha)

It's like 600k
But I figured it'd be worth it so I bought 1k diamond bolts, and filled the spot with 100 purple sweets. Got to Jad in 1 hour 20 minutes but died when I messed up prayer switch when I was trying to run closer to see his health/attack healers. Got him down to like 1/4 health too



Gonna try again tomorrow
