Good. Very good. I've added a finishing touch and with that, the main page is now complete. Good job.

Now we can start focusing on the content again.

I plan on Helping the Wiki when ever need be.

I have a question -

How would I go about adding an image to the wiki?

I actually made a tutorial post and a guideline thread.

It's ok Joey... The Wiki for the majority has gone with the wind temporarily, no one is really focusing on it particularily.

I'm just going to throw this out there, but the Wikia already is the go-to for all Runescape-related things. Even the 'official' wiki on the Runescape site isn't as good when compared to the Wikia.

Other sites that are what I'd consider to be worse than the Wikia show up on Google's results; Sal's realm, RuneHQ, Zybez, etc etc. Example, While Guthix Sleeps.

Even when I deliberately search for the same quest with "Neo Wiki" added into the search, I don't get the page as a result. You get some overhyped thread as the first result, a few others under it, and then I get neowiki Neo Wiki pages of Kuradal and Slayer Master. There isn't even a page for While Guthix Sleeps- a very popular quest. Frankly, it isn't a surprise that the wiki is dead as it is, as I'm sure a lot of the information is just rewritten from the Wikia, like Kuradal's slayer task list.

Upon checking Kuradal's page, I also found that using WGS as an example might not be the best example- so I checked the Underground Pass quest guide and it has nothing on the Wikia or most other sites' guides. Full text is a terrible idea to write out quests with.

Further checking another quest like Tree Gnome Village (in the quest list) is merely

I'm not trying to bash the efforts of the people that have written a couple good articles, but there's no reason to actually use the Neo Wiki simply because it doesn't stack up and only a small group of people that are even aware of the existence of the Wiki and stubbornly refuse to use superior guides for quests will surely enjoy doing quests like Mourning's Ends Part II with the lack of the Neo Wiki's guide. The importance of visual imagery cannot be stressed enough for quest guides- especially for Monkey Madness and other advanced quests, where knowing where you should be is crucial (especially to stay alive in Monkey Madness). It doesn't matter too much for the little baby quests like Cabin Fever or Big Chompy Bird Hunting though...

Lastly, the fact that all combat is changing this summer with the Evolution of Combat, the Wikia has a lot to work on and is sufficiently up-to-date for the task of rewriting a lot of equipment, monsters, and quest bosses. The Neo Wiki will basically be obsolete by then, outdated as it is already.

Just my thoughts on the point of bothering to edit the Neo Wiki, or even use it.

Not counting the charms, which Wikia does pretty well, maybe having the percentage chance of getting a drop from a specific monster. Like for example if you kill 1000 Tormented Demons and get 13 Dragon Claws, it would have a 1.3% drop chance, whereas on Wikia it just says "Rare". It would work best on focusing on more "desirable" items, since I don't think many people kill TDs for their super defs. For slayer monsters it could apply to their unique drops like bronze to dragon boots, whips, mauls, etc. For Barrows it could be the odds of getting a Barrows item per chest, then which item specifically. Things like the TzHaar could have an average tokkul per kill and drop odds of their weapons.

TzHaar's list on the Wikia has a range of Tokkul, which is more than enough because it's not hard to realize that if it's 300-1700 a drop, that the average is 1000. The problem with trying to do statistics like that is simply put- it's impossible. You can't do 1000 TD kills and think that your 13 claw drops are the final word, because when someone else does 1000 TD kills, and they get 50 claw drops, how are you going to possibly rationalize or average that when it was substantially different? Their current system of Common/Rare/Very Rare [x] works great and really gives you a feel for how much a chance you really have at getting something.
