As some of you know I quit runescape about 18 months ago. I just went on the hiscores and noticed I've dissapeared. I was ranked 20th in defence with 200m xp. No email saying I'm banned, and unable to log in. It's like I've just been wiped off the database. Anyone know what the *bleep* this is about?

People who are f2p do not show up on hi scores any more. The update was made today and people are raging about it on the forums. Even Elias, the first person to reach 3B XP, was taken off of the hi scores since he's f2p at the moment.

Silly idea for Jagex to make seeing as they won't be able to call themselves the 'The No.1 Free Online Multiplayer Game' if they don't even care about F2P.

Nothing to do but wait and see when/if Jagex reverses this. There are currently 578,801 members, lets see how many there will be in a few months after this update.

Edit: off on member count by a few thousand.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere they've archived 200m ranks. So if you were to subscribe again, you'd be back to ranked 20th

That's super *bleep*ed. They're just gonna end up getting more people to quit for good probably since they lose their spot in the high scores if they have to take a break from rs.

While Smithing I started to think about the gold bars and the the gold in Fort Knox. In RuneScape a bar of gold weighs 1.81 kilograms, so it would take 2,307,118.65 bars of RuneScape gold to match that of Fort Knox. The current price of a bar of gold is 121gp, so to have as much gold as Fort Knox it would cost 279,161,357gp to have the gold in Fort Knox.

tl;dr: All the gold in Fort Knox is worth 279,161,357 coins.
