When you ran around lumbridge in iron armour with a blue wizard hat on, weilding a steel long and a bronze kiteshield? I think the best times of my RS gaming life were when I first joined and killed goblins for cash with my mate - we got up to like 1.5k cash and we thought we were like mega rich Do you miss the good ol' days of being a noob or do you prefer the game now, knowing it inside-out? -------------------

	I remember when I mined 100 rune essence and got scammed out of it. At the time I was really pissed off cause that was alot of money for me. XD And me and some friends just went into Varrock Sewers and trained our melee stats up from 20 something to like 40 in a night, which was amazing to be able to wield rune. Great times lol. ------------------- ~

	Definitely, right up until about 105 combat I had loads of fun, but the "noob" days are certainly the best. Kind community back then, helping people out and vice versa, I remember making a fire for a dude who in return paid me 10k for "being nice" (back when I thought 10k was a huge amount of money). Mining coal in barb village and banking in varrock west for cash, getting members and immediately doing the fishing contest quest and being amazed by the colourful atmosphere that was members. Im really tempted sometimes to make a new account and play it from scratch like I did, I know it wont be the same, especially with the mouthy community, but it would be good to relive some memories and re-do some of my favourite quests. ------------------- Cheap, Quality Supplements Hundreds of great products including whey protein. 	I never used iron w/ Blue Wizard Hat!!! LOL, my noob outfit was full priest... But, yeah the good ol' days, how I miss them! Completing Dragon Slayer and goin' crazy about it, asking my best friend for some cash to buy rune plate... 	The problem is though, you know exactly what needs to be done =[ I liked spending hours trying to find my way from the Wizards tower back to Lumbridge; now it wouldn't take 30 seconds (With the teleport). On the topic of quests: Completing Dragon Slayer was like completing the game for me I remember PMing my mate "I've done it! Completed all quests!" XD -------------------

	Sorry for hogging the thread, but in my early days I tried to figure out a way to go to Ardougne. (Even though I was F2P, I hadn't exactly figured out the difference between that and P2P). So 1st, I looked at the world map, being at Lumbridge, the simplest way to go was to walk WEST. So I started my brave adventure through the lands of RuneScape, only to find myself stranded on a Cape, later to be known as Wizard's Tower. That was how I found out Draynor Village and then Falador. My second attempt started when I saw the Teleport to Ardougne on the Spells Book. I noticed the magic level required was way higher than mine, so I ended up buying like 20 Wizard Mind Bomb's. Started drinking them, only to find out you could raise 1 level. Turns out I never saw Ardougne until almost 3 years later when I finally got my 1st membership, I ran to the Zoo, (because that was what caught my eye on the world map), and said: "That's it?!" BTW, Sky, great idea this thread. I'll try to post as many of my crazy stories as I can remember. ------------------- [Simple Stuff]

	Yeah I do sort of miss them. But I like knowing everything about the game and telling all the noobs things they ask for etc etc. But when I come back to rs after my exams im basically going to be a noob again, havent played since day summoning came out -------------------

	I like it as I am now. I can do stuff I've never attempted before, but also do stuff with enough challenge, such as quests like 'Grand Tree', was a bit challenging, but I was able to complete it. Not being able to do anything is the worst. But exploring places was the best bit tbh. Members, especially. ------------------- I got to maintain stay sane; this world of man is strainin my mainframe

Members Wow, space... lot of space (Now, EXPAND THE MAP!) Construction rox! (Now: Construction is FTL) I can make 100k in 2 hours! awesome! OMGOMGOMG! 70 skill! Awesome! 50+ melee 60 All Melee OMGOMGOMG! First 200k (etc...) 	Ah, I remember some four years ago, Runescape was the biggest thing for the guys at my school. We'd all hang out on it, etc. We were killing Goblins together, and I died, and my mate took my 2.5k and logged off I quit for a week out of devastation But the best part of playing back then, was the fact that there was always something new to do - every step you took was a new adventure. Now, I basically know the game inside and out -------------------

	I remember years ago, my brother and I would race to see who could make the most money mining coal in fally... I was always ahead, but he gave up when I got about 37K GP looool. Good times...

	I remember I mined 1k rune ess and got 30k for it and thought I was rich only to be told people have millions. I also remember killing scorpions on karjama and dieing. And I remember trying to play with the brightness on lowest and thinking it was the suns fault but it was because I was noob. 1000th Post ------------------- But, a dog's got personality. 	It was great. I wish i could have all my runescape memories taken from me and start playing again. What also annoys me is that the higher level people get they try to be more mature and don't like having fun.
