Due to her whip-sword, Ivy has the longest attack range of any character in the game. The winner of the National Soul Calibur tournament Harold "Kageh" Hess used Ivy to defeat Spencer "FetZ" Brisson's Cervantes to capture the championship.[2]

At the Evolution 2003 fighting game championships, Andrew "X_SC2" Shin took 5th place with Ivy, establishing himself as one of the premier Ivys.

When we first played soul calibur, My dumb bro looked at all the characters (He hasn't played it before!) and I was yelling at him to hurry up coz I had already picked Kilik (Surprised!) and as soon as he saw Ivy he said, "I gotta pick her she looks really fit in that costume!" (Cos 1) and while we were fighting (I was winnin as usual) he kept staring at her butt! I dunno why he kept sayin "Nice butt" Very annoying!

Ivy's one dominatrix I wouldn't mind playing with.

Being the oldest of the female characters, she's probably a milf. But she still doesn't compare to Queen milf, Sophitia.

and Paraplegic Munki, Sophita is married, get over it LOL but she's pretty I must admit. I think Sophtia is the prettiest of all. In SCIII, her waight, she refuse to tell it LOL. But why I don't get it. She got very nice body in SCIII. I can understand why she whouldn't tell in Soul Blade, cuz she was little bit fat there..LOL

The only time I've ever seen Ivy deserve the bottom was when she wore her 2p costume in Soul Calibur II. Other than that she's top notch. Sometimes I think the men of Soul Calibur enjoy it when she's holding them all close-like while her sword's shards are stabbing them in the gut.

I think the only thing good with ivy is her clothes.

Ivy is very much a specialist, she pretty much dominates in mid-to-long range attacks. It takes some skill to use her advanced throws like calamity symphony, but the payoff is that you get a damaging throw while look damned cool.

Not to mention she can even hold her own at close range. Not that it matters since a lot of her attacks can knock the opponent back far enough to get them back at mid to long range.
