I know the title is lame but i found it on a SC2 site

Ivy Valentine is one of my favorite characters in SC3 i never payed attention to her in SC1 or SC2 but in SC3 she definitely caught my attention.

I love how you can change from sword to whip. Her voice over is pretty good and i think she plays a decent role in the storyline. I hope to see more of Ivy in the future.

I used to use her alot.
Somehow, I hardly use her at all nowadays.

I better relearn her.

Which game did you play with Ivy the most?
I never used her SC1 except to get her ending and for SC2 i used her sometimes because of random selection.

Ivy is indeed powerful maybe most powerful out of all the females.

You better relearn Ivy because when SC goes online in the future your gonna need all the practice you can get to beat me jk

Ivy seems very cool because of the grudges she holds with nightmare and siegfried.

i have used Ivy quite a few times. but i just dont like her. shes quite powerful but i just dont likeget into her and have fun playing her. but i will say taht her whip/sword weapon is awesome.but i just dont like her

Ivy's fighting style does take some time to get used too

People tend to say shes a character for experts thats probably why people don't use her as much as Talim or Xianghua.

I want to see a rivalry between Ivy and Seong mi-Na (My two favorite SC characters )

I wonder if Seuong Mi-Na holds a grudge against Ivy...

Ivy is probably one of the best characters in SC3, along with her dad.

i think Seong MI-Na hates Ivy i think i saw it somewhere in TOS. Ivy is pretty good too bad Seong Mi-Na couldn't be as good as her .

They really changed her in SC3. I was god with her in SC2, but I havent taken the time to get use to her now. My first impression was she sucks compared to before, but Im pretty sure thats no entirely true.

Shes one of the best characters in this game.

I like her stuns in her sword form

But i mostly use her whip form

Her whip form is definetly more deadly than her sword form.At least im better with her whip form.When Ivy is used right she can be deadly.

Hey what are the buttons to go into whip stance?

I know some of her attacks end in shifting to whip stance, but is there a way to go to whip stance directly?

B+K goes into whip state but it's a slow movement and Ivy steps towards her opponent and not away, so it's not a very good thing to do.

Unless your opponent thinks you are advancing and about to strike when your actually just changing your weapon but I doubt they wouldn't notice by the time your weapon starts shifting.

That's why attacks that transition between the two is the best way to use her.

I'm glad Summon Suffering does an equal ammount of damage as Calamity Symphony now.

The only difference is it is now A+G instead of A+B now.

I'm not sure if that makes it any easier.

Maybe the time frame before each input is longer now, which makes it easier to do?

Ivy has a dangerous throw game but I'm beginning to think that Setsuka is even more dangerous.
