How do I improve at Soulcalibur 3? |
|
It's been about 2 weeks since I started SC3... I've been playing it everyday, and I found a few good characters that suit my playing style. My question is this - how do I improve without playing with others. No one I know plays SC3 now. And there's no online feature for SC3. I don't have a ps3 for SC4.
So how then, do I improve in the fastest/most efficient way possible?

Well, with created characters, the more you fight (chronicles of the sword is a good way to go to get exp with that character if you want, or just plain arcade battles work to), the stronger you will get, and can get up to 5 weapon disciplines. After those five, you're pretty much done.
When it comes to the main characters (ie Knightmare, Sophitia, etc) you could aim to collect all of their "cutscenes" and all of their weapons by purchacing them from the armory. (hope these help My question is whether or not there is a way to complete SC3. ------------------- ![]() Made by Lovedove

Thanks, but that wasn't what I meant. My favourite character is Cervantes, and I want to get good at him first before anything else. I can outdamage the "very hard" mode or "ultra hard" in practice with him, but that shouldn't be a real test. In the World Tournament I got till the 27th battle... the final battle was 28th
My question wasn't how I can get good by buying weapons, but how I can improve my skill-level. My reflexes are not yet fast enough to guard impact most of the time, but I think that will come with practice. Also, in the practice tutorials by Olcadan, some of the things suggested are very unnecessary and there are way easier alternatives to what he suggests, at least that's what I think.

Just do a lot of practicing with Cervantes in either Training mode or in Quick Play. Also watch gameplays of Cervantes on YouTube; take notice to moves they use and learn from it. You can also go and read in other forums about Soul Calibur to get some advices. Cervantes is hard to get into if you ask me, but he's fukken powerful and is a top tier (I think). You can finish that tournament with more practice.
