When I went to Metal Shark Player's alternate stage, these mosquito things started following me. Whenever I go to any stage with the ultimate armor, which is the only one tested so far, these things appear. It's getting really annoying. How do I get them away permanently?

They'll be there no matter what. They are just there to annoy your probably.

I figured it out. When you go to a stage, these events happen in another stage. When you go to Shield Sheldon then to Blaze Heatnix or Infinity Mijinion, some blocks appear in the stage. When you go to Rainy Turtloid then Commander Yammark, rain appears in parts of the stage. When you go to Blizzard Wolfang then Metal Shark Player, the junk heaps are frozen. There are more, but I don't know all of them. I might contribute a guide when I figure it all out.

These aren't Mosquitos. they are dragon flies what you are describing is an effect of the nightmare virus. After you leave a level, certain ones will be in red. These have something different from the normal version in the stage. Simply use the weapon that came from the stage you visited before. So if you just destroyed Commander Yammark, you will see dragonflies in some stages. Destroy them with the Yammark Option. The effect stays in the level till another Nightmare virus effect replaces it. Each level has two different effects. For example, Infinity Mijinion's stage. Defeat metal shark player, and there will be metal blocks that can only be destroyed by Metal Anchor. The level will stay like that until the other level that give it a nightmare effect (I can't remember the other one or what it does) is visited and then it will be the other one instead of the metal blocks. Understand, or did I just confuse you?
