I dont know if there are people here who play ffVIII on the pc, but I have a problem.
at disc 2 after breaking out of the prison, you need to enter the missle base, when I enter the missle base the game just crashes.
I've tried it with low resolution and sowfare renderer.
quarter screen. I installed the patch and I still crash.
Does anyone know what the problem is?

Sorry to say that its probably your disk. Did you get it used? It might by damaged. I sugest borrowing a disk, playing through that part and switch back to your disk after you save, or even play through the entire borrowed disk, and then continue onto your other disks. After all, it sounds like you tried every thing. You could even rent it and play through the damaged part. As long as your not using the disk that crashes. This is just a suggestion. There may be simpler ways.

go to thepiratebay.org and download the iso's. slap them on virtual drive. and play that way.
