Um.. I'm not sure if it's called Lion Heart, but I want Squall's best weapon as soon as possible. Even though I hear you don't need to have the magazine to get it, I don't know of any shop that lets you make it... (any weapons shop that is) Can anyone solve my problem?

To answer your question, if you haven't already figured it out yourself, it's true that you can get Squall's weapon, the Lion Heart, without owning the Weapons Mon 1st magazine.

What you need to do is have the following items:

Adamantine (x1) : Win from Adamantoise monsters, on the beaches of Long Horn island (northern Galbadia)

Dragon Fang (x4) : Blue Dragons (Island Closest to Hell) drop them in high quantities.

Pulse Ammo (x12) : Win Energy Crystals (from Elnoyles preferably, encountered in Esthar) and refine them using Ifrit's Ammo-RF.

If you have the above, go to any Junk Shop and the Lion Heart gunblade will be available.
