Beating myself

yeah this forums dead aswell, anyway beating yourelf is well tricky as the nemesis has the spear of achilles. anyway block his magical attacks but be weary as this drains half of a magic tank. health and magic orbs spawn at points around the arena so beat the nemesis to them when you can. i used the dual swords as the hammer is far too slow to use. use the technique of breaking his block with a kick, slash away or use a direct magic attack. but he'll go and collct health orbs so you have to beat him to the spawn points or it'll be a very long fight. use the direct magic attacks where you can as they do the most damage, but always leave a tank spare to block nemesis. that's how i beat him anyway. also if you can kick him against a wall do it, it stuns him for a bit longer allowing you to get a few slashes in hope this helps.

What I did was back him up into a corner and just kept slashing. he couldnt get out because I was in his way

I find it better to kick at combo him in mid air.
