if you have this guy on your team, then you'll know that he's an excellent long relief pitcher. he tops out at 100 while averaging 97 with his fastball, as well as having three other pitches to go with.

some people who weren't mentioned but are excellent ball players are Matt Williamson and Steve Brassard

Not to be a pain in the ass, but i think its Ryan Howard. and he wont have to wait much longer...i bet Thome retires in the next year or so.

5 or 7 years? if he keeps playing like he is, he might as well retire now. I don't think he wants to join the class of players who waited to long to retire.

I don't agree I still think Thome is good. He's got like 25 HR's and 60 RBI's right now. And I think he's only doing bad because he got injured somehow. He'll produce next year. So I'm saying he'll retire at around 40. Because retiring at 36 or 37 would seem kind of odd.

first of all, ive played this game a while and did alot of simulating when im bored, and the guys that always turn out to be the next manny ramirez etc... are.... Matt Williamson of the Dbacks, Steve Brassard of the Jays, and the top AAA on Detroit i forget his name, get these guys and develop them, they'll be awesome, they all should have a 5 star potential, all good speed,power and contact. aswell as glove.

He definatly was in the Red Sox Farm System in 04 when they made this because they called him up in late 05 and they wouldn't call up someone who hadn't even been around for 1 year.

Sadly, they didn't put Papelbon in the game, they put in washed up Keith Foulke as closer (Huzzah)
