whats the best weapon you have so far, or if you've beaten it, whats the best weapon you had at that time?

has anyone gotten Death's Scythe yet? a weapon faq i read shows how to make it and you need a TON of shit to make it, but it has a huge amount of damage. i was just curious if anyone has gotten to see it reak havok. it has like 150 ATK so its gotta be flippin amazing!

anyway, i have a Claymore so far as my best. i also have a Nodachi, which im saving in order to make a Dragon Killer in the future. i have it all planned out for making Death's Scythe, and its definitely gonna take a while, but it sounds well worth the effort.

Death's Scythe actually has a +120 ATK. Plus it's
Darkness-Elemental. If you can't make a Death's Scythe, then the second best weapon is a Warhammer, and that has a +80 ATK. I currently have a Warhammer, but not a Death's Scythe.

in order to make it you need Death's pulse right? and i understand you must steal it from him when you fight him. well how much of the game remains after you fight Death? i mean you still have to take down Drac right. so i guess the Scythe would be worth getting if not for anything except Dracula or would it really not be worth it? i mean, is Dracula hard or fairly easy? he seemed pretty hard to me in LoI, although thats really the only Castlevania ive played before. i assume Dracula is resistant to Dark power but can it still damage him anyway or not?

EDIT: ha, HA!!! i now have the 7 Bladed Sword, Battle Axe and the Chavos-Soraa thing (Isaac's spear), and now i only need Death's pulse and i can make the all powerful DEATH's SCYTHE!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! THE DAY IS MINE!!!!!

ack! i tried like 8 million times and i was NEVER able to steal that elusive Death's Pulse from him!! thank you very much Konami for making it nearly IMPOSSIBLE to do!! so i finally just used a Codebreaker to get Death's Pulse so i could try DS out. it looks really schweet and its pretty good too. one reason was cuz i am writing a FAQ/guide on how to get and use the DS, and so i needed to try it out before i could say how good it is and all. its not like i dont KNOW how to steal it; you have to wait until right after Death does the Big Bang move (which unfortunately he only does rarely) and then the steal window is only open for like a friggin 1/2 SECOND!! oh come on Konami!

the Feather sword is the best sword.

spiked shield sucks you know. its not comboable and slow. and there is a mini gun you can make but it takes a lot of stuff and i didnt get it. i think you need the Hien to make it though.

the best weapon in the game is the laser blade. you can get 3 stikes in in the time it takes to get one with the scythe, and just try to hit a phantom blaze or anything even remotely fast with the death's scythe. the scythe is good for bosses and thats about it, but none of the fast bosses, just the first guy, wyvern, the bull guy, death, dracula v2, and nuclais
