Question about saving up your gold pieces - Page 2

I'm not sure where you're getting that from, but it is not exactly correct.
Each time you level up, you are given two different kinds of points to 'spend'. You get 3 points to allocate in any of four categories, such as Intelligence, Strength, etc. I am pretty sure you always get 3 points each time you level up. It always stays the same. But then you also get a certain number of points to allocate toward "special abilities". These include magic powers, such as the ones I described (Stony Gaze, Lightening, etc.), and also options such as increasing the amount of weight you can carry etc. This screen is set up like a tree, and you have to choose things in the first row before you can choose things below it, and so on, and so on. The number of points you can put toward these things does increase a little. But I don't think you start with 1, I think you start with 2 or 3. Then each time you level up you get another 2 or 3. Mine just started giving me 4, and I think it was when I reached level 35 or so. Not sure exactly.
