	quote shadow2k5 Yes its a special and you do have a point but its a good weapon. If you are still on about the Lightning Rod, it's either a normal attack or a 100% special. It does have 2 other spells, one of which can freeze, and if you run out of MP's, you can regenerate a few. I've taken it over PK, and use my extra spell slot for Summon Krenos (one of the best "guests" you can get) -------------------

	I'm not sure, but I think that means KC has that item or something... lol. KC!!! YOU HAVE TO DO THIS!!!! SWITCH DRAGONSLAYER SHIELD FOR EYE OF NAAB!!! IT'S WAY BETTA!!! Against, say, a Gogg... Click the shield and heal 300 hp! Woot. Really strong monsters like Death Roller, Fenris, Megdragons, etc... it's absolutely essential, especially if you're a mage or hybrid. Tanks may not need it, but who makes tanks? Seriously.

	Eye of Naab is hardly "essential". I walked into the Fenris fight with half my hp gone and still won with the help of Fairy Godmother, Nemesis Plate and Shield and some potions. Only if you're an annihalator build and have hardly any hp could Eye of Naab be considered essential. For tanks and balanced builds (i.e. with a reasonable amount of endurance) you can make do fine without it. I've beaten all 3 of your example monsters without Eye of Naab and I'm not a tank build. Though to be fair I agree that its far better than Dragonslayer Shield. Once you have the ubers and s-shields Eye of Naab is the only shield worth saving a slot for. -------------------
