Due to this forum's traffic slowing down, I'm no longer a mod. I'm not going anywhere, but I will no longer be able to do any of the mod things. I just thought I'd let people know what's going on.

so who is gonna be doing the mod things when mod things need to be done ?

The forum needs to become much more active to warrant a moderator. It seems almost dead as it is. It's sad to see this forum die like this. It used to be my favorite place on Neoseeker for a long time.

It's a bit odd really, but although I look in pretty much every day unless I see something that interests me I do other stuff, it seems (to me) though there aren't as many people that post stuff so the discussions aren't there anymore, maybe it's the topics maybe it's to do with AQ becoming in some ways more predictable and less random, in the old days you could, with the right equipment, some luck and maybe a bit of effort beat big a**ed Nightbane and the like so that was a discussion point that created site traffic and discussion as people tried themselves. I like it here and have no intention of joining the official AQ forums (but I do look in at them occasionally), they just don't feel the same or as friendly.

When I started posting here this forum was already about dead. Draxx was trying to drum up some people to post here so I followed his link and signed up.

Traffic has gone up and down since then, but now is definitely a down time. It's been that way for a while now, but since school is starting back up traffic has really taken a drop.

I meant when Teo was mod. Unless I read that incorrectly.

Teo was the mod for several months after I started posting here.

There was a time when the forum was more active while Teo was mod, but it also took a nose dive while he was still here.

Ahem, everyone let me tell you a short story about AQ neoseeker forum...

When Teo moderated the forum at first it was really active(Second place on most active PC game forums, after RS forum) but slowly going down in the end(Many members like KC here, W4G, Golduin, Epevans left and that was pretty much the only members that knew how to give an advice at that point, not including Chaz that stayed a bit more), some of the "old" members still tried to revive it and it was a bit active then Teo sadly left us and Eladar took his place, forum was still a bit active but it had his up and downs ... Now to see it this dead kinda makes me sad, only a few posts a day but that is all we get

Oh well, if i ever get some taste of AQ i'll come back and try to revive it whit my spam


And i do know i'm not the oldest member here (KC and Teo were here from the start) but i guess i'm the only person that stayed

Also i'm sorry to hear about your "demotion" Eladar, we didn't get along to good from the first day but you did a great job in here, good thing your still going to be around

There were cricket's chirping when I joined. I'm a little bit offended by the fact that Knightmare Chaotix said that things only died after I became Mod (seeing as I took over after Teo left).

Nah Eladar, his only trying to say that General Discussions were really active at that time, i can say it was more active then "Character Rating Thread" but was a long time ago, like he seed "Back when I still sucked at typing" , trust me that was a long time, before i even joined and yes you came at dark times ^^

If you joined via the link i had in my sig then you came exactly after we revived this forum from only 2 members left, best time ever, me and chaz only persons left in here

I think the forum got killed when W4G left, so blame him xD

Now the worst thing is that my english got so much better in here, makes me sad my english teacher got killed by the inactivity :[

Ofc your right, you were really laid back moderator, not many threads closed by you...so not to much restriction in here, you only helped to keep the forum alive for longer.

You, nohighwayoption and maybe a few more are the only good advisers(i'll be damn if i can spell this thing right, oh well hope you guys get my point) left :]
