This Roleplay for Final Fantasy 7 takes place about a year after Final Fantasy 7: Dirge of Cerberus. For those of you that don't know, Dirge of Cerberus ends a few years after Advent Children, and not much happens after then. This roleplay is for the enjoyment of others, so please dont critisize what others do or say while roleplaying. Respect others please while participating, and if you cant, please dot particiapte at all

There is no god modding in this roleplay. Do not make your character indestructable and dont make them extremely powerful. Having your character equipped with powerful materia is ok, but not combos with all of the most powerful materia. Also, try to avoid using other characters already being roleplayed by someone else a lot. I know that sometimes it can't be avoided. If you are going to give dialogue to another's character, or if you are using their character a lot for you section of roleplay, please PM that person and confirm it with them to avoid any problems or arguments. Follow the 7 line rule as well

While roleplaying a large battle, i will start off with a small paragraph describing how it begins, the each person seperately will describe how their battle with the enemy was carried out.

We are always accepting new characters, no matter how far in the roleplay we are. For the sake of the roleplayers, we have created an event in which some dead characters are revived, so you may use a dead character if you wish. If you would like a character please PM me who you want your character to be, and a list of 4 equipped materia. You may also use and change of outfit if you would like.

Story Intro

It was a few years after sephiroth's final defeat. Cloud and all of his friends had all gone their seperate ways. The world had finally been at peace. Mosters no longer roamed the land, and there was no more evil to chase. Cloud finally felt happy and peaceful. He felt free. Free from all the fighting, free from all the worry. Every Mako reactor around the world was gone, even the Shinra building was gone. All traces of Shinra had dissapeared. But no one knew how soon the peace would end...

Sephiroth...

Sephiroth...

Minerva continued to hear his name. Why? Then, she felt it... a tortured soul. A soul that searched for forgiveness and redemtion. Couldn't she just... no. She kept on on telling herself she couldn't. She couldn't give Sephiroth another chance.

She continued to feel it, every day it grew stronger. It was strong, too strong. She had to free him from his pain. Searching deep withing herself she found the power, and abiltiy, then she made Sephiroth anew. But she had to be fair, she brought back Aerith and Zack, and decided that they too, should be freed.

"You have been given another chance. Find the peace that you seek" And with that said, she let them go. All three of them were taken to the underground lab, in the Nibelheim Mansion. Just as she let them go she felt a breeze and turned around to notice the outline of another man dissapear into the darkness....

For Zack and Aerith, how they felt after being revived and what they did

I guess i'll start. Vincent had been thinking of all the things that had happened. With the final defeat of Sephiroth and the world set at peace he had decided to seal himself away in his coffin untill the world needed him again. All the things that flew
into his head when he thought of her..... As he lay there he wondered how long he would be alone this time. In his cold coffin.... he lay there falling into a uneasy sleep haunted by her......

Zack slowly opened his eyes to find he was sleeping on a lab table, in a dark room with one barely working light in it. After 10 seconds of wondering where he was he looked over to his right to see a girl in a blue and white dress with a ribbon in hair and long bronw hair sleeping on another lab table, still sleeping for no reason . All Zack could remember was telling someone with Blonde spiky hair something he could not remember. All the time he was looking around the room for a door of some kind, but then he saw someone dressed in black and had long silver hair sleeping on another lab table. Not knowing who this person was or how he got here, he went to investigate. Upon getting closer to the person he saw he was holding a long, slender blace. It look as though it had been his favored weapon but while he was looking at the blade, he noticed the man was having a dream about something... but Zack couldn't imagine what he was dreaming about. After all this though Zack started to feel weak for some reason, and he went back to the lab table he awoke from and went back to sleep, but this time he had a dream of a woman wearing golden armor and whispering something he couldn't hear... something about him, the girl, and the man in black...

Sephiroth awoke in a dimly lit lab on a table. This place seemed familiar, very familiar. Why was he here? He couldnt remember much, the last thing he remembered was walking into a town with a man next to him. He looked around him only to find the shock of seeing the man who he remembered being with him lying asleep on the same kind of table he was on. Where were they, what had happened to him? He wondered over and over. He also noticed a lady. She seemed familiar as well. He didnt remember much about her. But as he continued to observe her pictures flashed into his head. Pictures of blood... blood and water. He stood up and heard the sound of metal hitting the ground. He looked down to notice a long thin sword. He picked up the sword and felt a familiar feeling. He has used this sword before. He swung it feeling familiarity in each swing. And then again... the picture of blood and water... who was this girl... and what was his connection to her? He fell back asleep only to dream about a beautiful woman in gold armor. And she spoke to him softly... "You have been given a second chance...the everything came back to him... everything before what happened at the Nibelheim reactor, but nothing after it

The glass window broke as I leapt through it. I heard a "Wait!" come from behind me, and I smirked. Probably the red-headed Turk. Reno, was his name, I think. Neither him nor the bald Turk seemed too happy to find me in the Shinra building, looking for old secrets in the labs.

But no matter. I rolled as soon as I hit the ground (it's tough to land on your feet when you're three stories up), and I carried the momentum I had to continue my speed as I took off running. I heard zings as shots were being fired my way, but I didn't stop. It was not in my interest to become swiss cheese.

And suddenly, it all stopped. The bullets, the shouting, everything. I was by myself on the street. I looked around to see faces locked in an expression of surprise and horror. I grinned. I didn't know my haste materia was that powerful.

I didn't waste much time staring in awe though. Once I realized I could escape, I did. I turned down an alleyway and jumped up, wrapping my fingers around the bottom rungs of a fire-escape ladder as I did so, using my upper body strength to pull myself up. Once I was on the rooftop, the hustle and bustle of city life continued, but by then I was long gone.

I stood on the edge of the roof, staring down at the city below, a chain attached to a flash drive dangling from my wrist. It was a flash drive I found in the Shinra labs. Something the Turks didn't want me getting.

I was gonna find out what it was.

I knew Shinra was long gone, but their secrets weren't.

I am Nanaki,son of Seto,and this is my story of the last couple of years. After all of the children in Midgar were freed from the pain of Geostigma,I decided to travel the world in hopes of helping the children that still had the stigma get to midgar to heal them. Cid offered to take me around the world in his airship,and I quickly accepted the offer,for it would help get the children to midgar sooner. I always felt bad for those children,they were always in so much pain. I eventually brought all of the children with the stigma to the pool of water in Aerith's church in the sector 5 slums. Everytime I saw the pool of water in the church,I thought that Aerith wouldn't be happy about the water drowning her flowers. She loved those flowers....


After we took the last child home,Cid took me back to my home;Cosmo canyon. "I'll see ya later,Red." He told me as I got off the airship. "Goodbye Cid,I'll come see you if I ever need an airship." I had to walk part of the way back home,Cid's new airship couldn't land on the terrain near the canyon,much like the highwind couldn't. But I didn't mind,it's been safe since Sephiroth died the last time. What do I do now? I asked myself.

Cissnei looked at the sun filled sky. Another day the same she thought. She had been living in The Costa Del Sol for so long now, just once she wished it would rain. After receiving news of Zack's death she had abandoned all hope in Shinra. The other turks had warned her that someone would come after her if she left, but Shinra was having major problems of their own. Someone had killed the president for starters. Serves him right, Cissnei had thought as she fled to the popular resort. She had been working as a tour guide since then, but longed one day to do something more important with her life, to make up for failing her friends and the pain the turks had caused.

The Turks, an elite organization established by Shinra, for the sole purpose of protecting the high-ranking members of Shinra by any means possible. The requisites are tough and the training tests grueling and difficult. Only the best are able to survive.
We carry out our missions with precision and finesse. We show no emotions, not even when the victims have tears trailing down their faces. Yes, we are emotionless to such an extent. But who can say that fate isn’t being funny? Even though due to professionalism, we were made to abandon our emotions, but emotions are still invoked everyday in our hearts. This seems ironic, doesn’t it? Ah, how I wish I could blame it all on irony and fate, but I can’t, I simply can’t.
I myself am binded by one emotion. Love. This sounds cheesy doesn’t it? This emotion is only supposed to appear in chick literature and romance films. But it has become a rising, in suppressible torrent in me. This is all because of her; that one girl.
I long for her, everyday. It’s a burning desire like an addiction to drugs or alcohol. I even dream of her in my sleep, I have visions of her touching me affectionately, kissing me while I stroke her hair. But when I wake up, it’s all just my imagination.
Perhaps, this was how it was meant to end, just another story of unrequited love.

Genesis

Genesis landed on the ground, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was happening, that he would run into an old friend soon enough. He had been flying since leaving the cavern he had spent years training in, waiting for the moment the planet would need him. While wandering the world while waiting Genesis had found it had changed while his attention was elsewhere, changes he enjoyed. Shinra had diminished and a peace lay around the world, and for the first time since before he learned about Project G Genesis had an appreciation for the world around him. It all seemed to good to last.

"But, how come...?"

It was the same old house that sheltered him and his family. They were poor but they had everything. He noticed the kitchen was still intact, yet no water seemed to come from the faucet when he checked. Dusts and cobwebs covered the ceilings, walls, and most of the furniture, which made the air around him difficult to breathe. He went outside to look around at what seemed like a dream before his unbelieving eyes - the green fields soiled with trees and flowers and their fragrance that tickled his nose, the gentle breeze against his bare skin, and the warming bright blue sky above him. He looked past his neighbor’s houses and a couple of shacks on the outskirts, but no one seemed to be around.

Breathing in then out, the 1st Class SOLDIER refused to believe the reality he's in. Banora had been destroyed! Yet how come it's been restored like this so easily? Was it magic? Who could have done it? More questions flooded his thoughts. But he knew one thing for certain - The Lifestream. Although unbeknownst to him before, he believed he just came from there. It was a weird place where time seemed unfleeting; somehow, he liked it - peaceful, quiet, and appeasing. There was nothing he could ask for.

"But why am I here? And this wing..." Angeal mumbled, feeling his pulse just to make sure, his snow-white feathers wow that seemed too feminine enfolding his right wing swaying low. He continued walking to scan the area until he stopped his tracks to look up at a particular tree.

"Those apples...honor can sometimes be a burden." He chuckled, placing a gloved hand flat on the bark of the tree before closing his eyes and heaving a deep sigh.

It would take a matter of time to recollect his thoughts and orient himself. However, he had the gut feeling that something’s abound and for this reason alone he wanted to know what was really happening. Then he felt something was missing...

"I must get it back first."

He clenched his fist and surveyed the area for the last time. His right wing spread wide and high, and with that, he finally took off.

Dear friends and colleagues, it was time to reclaim his dreams and honor.

IC:I wandered around Cosmo canyon,like I did all the time. I felt so empty without something important to do.... Then it hit me. I should go look for another of my kind! I thought. But what if I really am the last one!? I can't think that,I have to have some hope. I started to leave,but I stopped. I left my materia at home. I ran back home (OOC:Bugenhagen's house) to get my materia. After I grabbed my materia,I went back to the town's entrance. "Where should I go first?" I asked myself. I thought for a moment. "Maybe I should head over to rocket town and ask Cid if I can use his airship again." I left town in the direction of rocket town.
