An air of peace covered the planet of Gaia. Battered before by wars, mad men, and renegade armies, Gaia stood strong still.
The World Restoration Organization was rebuilding the land devastated by the lack of mako, a lingering after effect of Shinra's legacy.
Remaining remnants of Deepground were quickly be quelled by the remaining members of Avalanche, and Sephiroth's clones were seemingly wiped from the planet.
Despite this lie that the whole planet believed there was a deep evil lurking in the depths of the planet, ready to be unveiled at any moment.
The first to find out about this secret were those who died.

My eyes snapped open, and I heard a shriek. Looking to my right, I saw a man with coke-bottle glasses looking at me, and when I turned to my left, an IV snaked its way into my arm.
"Y-y-you're not supposed to be awake!" He cried, pointing an accusing finger at me.
"Noticed that when ya screamed like a little girl," I said, rolling my eyes. I hated doctors, ever since that incident with Hojo.
I saw that I was in a bland medical office, and it was just me and the doctor. How'd I get here? Last thing I remember was me talking to Aerith in the field of flowers in the lifestream, then the sky grew dark. Since when did the lifestream sky turn dark? Wasn't that supposed to be like, heaven? But whatever.
Anyway, the doctor apparently didn't know what to do, he frantically turned back to his machinery, punched in a few keys, then started to rifle through the cabinets on the wall.
"What're you lookin' for?" I asked, doing my best to stay friendly. The way that guy was moving though . . . I don't think he had good intentions.
"P-p-putting you back to sleep," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Crap . . . I really needed to get out of here. I struggled to move my arms, but they were restrained. I sighed, relaxing my body, catching the guy off guard.
"Good, you're cooperating," I guess he was gaining his confidence back. He was slowly walking toward me, a syringe held between his latex covered fingers.
I waited until he was within a couple feet of me, then I smirked at the doctor, saying "You wish." I pulled both my arms upward at the same time with all my force, breaking the restraints. I could feel them cut into my wrists, but I've dealt with worse pains before.
My right hand clenched into a fist as it swung upward, hitting the doctor right in the nose. He crumpled instantly on the ground, and I stared down at him. I resisted the urge to spit on his body, I had to have honor.
I gazed around the room again, trying to figure out how to get out of here.
I needed to get out, and find Aerith. That was my first priority. Second, find Spike. I knew he was still alive, and I hoped Aerith came back, like me.
Looking down quickly, I came to realization. Before finding my friends, I needed some clothes.
((I guess we'll use double parenthesis for OOC. Just so you all know, you can start on the complete opposite side of the world as me right now. Our stories don't have to be intertwined at all at the moment. Heck, if Wolverine wanted to, he could be in the middle of a delivery, just living his life, unaware of me, which he probably would be. I don't even know where I am, or why I'm alive! So basically, use your imagination, and run wild with this!))
