Zack Fair vs. Cloud Strife Spoiler

I know there's a thread like Sephiroth vs. Angeal vs. Genesis vs. Vincent vs. Zack, but this is just Cloud vs Zack. Who do you think would win?

I'd say Zack, and these are my starting reasons (if we get healthy debate going I'll contribute more).

Zack is a SOLDIER First Class, he has that training. Cloud basically learned through experience, which can be helpful at times, but the actual military training is probably more useful.

Zack took down a whole armada of Shinra troops . . . yea yea Cloud "killed" Sephiroth, but, Sephiroth was not trying, merely playing with Cloud.

Lastly, Cloud is insecure and would figure that because Zack is the "mentor" he doesn't stand a chance.

So yea . . . any thoughts?

Zack would recruit the "Jumbo Cactuar" from FF7 and scare all of Cloud's friends away lol! ! I have an obcession with Cactuar now lol is this what they call a midlife Crisis(core)? ?

Zack seems like a better fighter than Cloud, as well as having a stronger personality. I think Cloud would lose, though it may be a good fight.

Anyway, I think that it would be a draw, simple because of the big fact that neither of them would want to fight the other.

But Sir FrozenPickle, if you would like a discussion putting that fact aside, then I'd maybe say that it depends on what point during their life they fight each other. Zack was very powerful but the only time Cloud is really strong enough to beat him could be any time, since he is still alive where Zack is not, and as far as we know, Cloud could be somewhere still training in case something were to happen to the world. On that note, I'd say it is quite an unfair fight to either pitch Zack against Cloud when Cloud was a lowly ShinRa Guard (when Zack was still alive) or to pitch the dead against the alive when Cloud is at the height of his power.

But besides all these random rambles, I would want Zack to win, but that's more of my opinion than fact that he is the better of the two, which I am sure a lot of you would disagree with.

I guess Zack is more used to single combat than Cloud is Cloud had Red there to help him murder things lol, so he isn't as much a solo fighter!! Cactuar (especially jumbo) > Zack and Cloud

I personally like Zach more but cloud would win easily. (Im talking about the cloud that is in FF7 and AC not the one in CC) His sword Ultima Weapon or the First Tsurugi is WAY more powerful than the Buster sword and Omnislash is more powerful than any limit break that Zach has. The WEAPONS that are in FF7 are ten times harder than Minerva and with most stratagys its easyier to use cloud alone. If you wanna include materia Cloud can hold more and KotR kicks everythings ass.

I would have to respectfully agree with all here...but I prefer Cloud for one reason.

I also get upset when I think that why didn't Cloud steal all of Zack's materia... I mean he stole the sword...

I think it'd be an interesting fight, but it'd all depend on circumstances of how it happened..

I thought Zack gave Cloud the Buster Sword. But I agree to
