It doesn't really matter that you can't avoid all affection between Cloud and Aerith, because it's quite easy to get him feeling more affectionate for the other women throughout the game. (actually, trying to boost Yuffie's affection can be a bitch).

And getting him to like Barrett, that's a whole 'nother thing! And kinda fun in a weird and twisted way......

Same thing with Aerith. Isn't this thread all about fan speculation anyway? It's not like Squarenix has gone out and said this person likes that person. The closest they've gotten to that, is with ZackxAerith. After all, CC was made to tell Zack's story. And Aerith happens to be a big part of it.

Let's not forget that Cloud isn't exactly the talkative type. Heck, he's practically mute for a good portion of the FFVII franchise(CC,FFVII,AC,DoC).

Yeah, the game did allow for quite a bit of freedom(not enough if you ask me). Each player depending on the choices they make, will get a slightly different outcome. There're no rights or wrongs here.

Oh, and I'm so happy that I got Cloud's date scene with Tifa at the gold saucer at FFVII.

lol. That's quite a unique pairing. But it's not too farfetched. They were in Avalanche together for awhile before Cloud showed up. And Tifa took care of Marlene when Barret wasn't around. Maybe something could've happened between them........Sorry, it's just a little too weird for me. CloudxTifa ftw!

Why is the scene w/ Zack and Aerith in AC only considered as "because they love each other" isn't it more natural to see it as they're both there because to them Cloud is special so they're giving him their support?

and i think most people just hate Maiden coz of the irony or the contrasting in characters personality, aren't people just being selfish coz they're seeing thing they dont want to see so they reject it.

and the thing between Zack X Aerith X Cloud X Tifa is a common thing in Japanese stories esp. in Mangas and Novels.

and lastly most people who argued in the past, are looking into things to much, besides love is something simpler. People just look into things more coz they dont want the result esp. the Aerith X Cloud, to bad Aerith died though. so in the end the only possible outcome is Cloud X Tifa unless another one "living" gets in the way.

Oops, and if some1 dies they return to the lifestream and they'll be used as the life's planet, all the Aerith and Zack, Cloud has been seeing is more like his delusions, its not like S-E stated that Cloud saw the real deal

Not being bias but if aerith loved Zack soooo much she couldnt really fall in love with another guy,but she did,Cloud so its kinda like she got over Her Zerith vase and settled into Clerith for good. even so i think Aerith only loved Zack as a Kinda brother and cloud as a...well a hell of a lot more than a brother, cause she says she doesnt want to think of cloud as Zack probaly cause she would feel like she is commiting incest. and if you use that point about her dieng and being reunited with Zack then why does she always come to cloud to reasure him and console him when she could be with Zack.
AERITH+CLOUD=the true love!

Zack loved Aerith, Aerith loved Zack, Cloud loved Aerith and Tifa, Aerith sorta liked Cloud but not as much has he liked her, Cloud dident realize that she dident love him as much and ended up with Tifa.
