why do peple hate the game!!!? they say its crap coz its a card game but.. WHO CARES! the people who give it a low review arn't patient and dumb coz they cant understand how the game the played. they cant be bothered to think. im not a chess nerd or anything but wen i got this game i hated it. when i understood how to play it was WICKED!!!!

People who review and trash it because it's not what they wanted are complete and utterly useless fools.

A game is to be judged on what it is comprised of, and how the game is executed. For example, if you take the gameplay for instance: If Konami said you'd get 8 cards per turn, and when the game was released, you only got 3 cards. Or worse, the US version gets 2 cards, and UK version 3 cards, and Japanese version 8 cards, then you'd be justified in marking the rating down.

In example, folks hate Aliens vs Predator: Extinction because it's not a first person shooter like the other AVP games. Does this make it a bad game? Hell no, it's an RTS game, and has to be judged like an RTS game, not dissed because of personal bias against its core design.

Again, IE: I hate Kingdom Hearts to death, I hate what it stands for, and what the teamup of Disney and Squaresoft has wrought, but I will not for the life of me call the game a piece of shit and rank it low as a result. I couldn't call myself a gamer if I did that. I can acknowledge that its design meets and may exceed basic game requirements, and may be weaker in some of those areas. I'm not going to trashtalk it cuz I have so-and-so personal vendettas.

That shouldn't be the case here. I've yet to play more of Acid 1 and 2 (barely grazed them), and I didn't find many major problems with it up-front. Plus there isn't really a reason to have any bias against this game either, since Portable Ops was released. :\ If you wanted an action game, and not strategy/card game, get Ops and stop crying.

People were wanting a 'proper' meatl gear title, not some crazy card game.

People compare it to MGS which is really dumb to do, it's a different style then the MGS series. If you compare any game to the Metal Gear Solid series you'll realize how superior it is.

It's about expectations.
