Tarantulas and Scorpions, Golden net and rod

I was just wondering, during the summer how many scorpions or tarantulas can you see in one evening?
I only see one scorpion or tarantula in one evening, like since the first time I saw a scorpion ( it bit me cause I had a net and didn't see him) and then the other two i saw just dived into the river ( i didn't catch all 3 in one night I saw only one each night) and only last night I saw a tarantula , it started running away from me and then it disappeared did it just dive into the water too??

I know that you get the rod and net after u catch every bug and fish in the game at least once but who gives you the net and rod do u get it in mail or does blathers give it to you ( i didn't catch all the bugs and fish I still have 20 bugs and less than 18 fish to catch)

NO WAY! NOT TRUE! Ive cought sometimes 4 scorpions or tarantulas in a night and you CAN see a scorpion AND tarantula in one night.

Best part is when u have both in your museum they fight XD
