No Spamming
Spamming is when a user posts one-liner, very short messages in a thread. This message do not add any kind of conversation value to a thread and in fact, they may kill a thread that is going fine. "Lol", "ok", "ya", "sorta", or the use of only one smiley and nothing else are examples of spamming. The biggest case of spamming is when the user only submits something like "sdfew" to a post, which is just a combination of characters. Because this posts add no value to the thread, they will be deleted immediately once detected. Spamming is one of the easiest rules to break, so please be careful of what you post when you do it.
Try Not To Double Post
This simply means that you shouldn't post again right after you make a new post, without someone replying to a thread in the mean time. Sometimes, it may be needed to do it (for example, when you want to revive an old thread in which you are the last poster), but please when it is not needed, do not make more than one post in a row. If you need to change or add something to your post, please look for the edit option in the toolbar at the end of your post.
Stay On Topic
Please do your best and try to stay on topic all the time; in both forum posts and when making threads. When you are making a thread, make sure it is related to Animal Crossing: Wild World. If not, your thread will be moved or deleted, on a case by case basis. Also, when you are replying to a thread on this forum, make sure you follow the topic. When you are not on-topic it is considered spam. Also, note that the only exception to off-topic posts is the off-topic General Discussion (GD), because that thread is to talk about anything so you can have a relaxing time, but the rest of the rules do apply to that thread as well.
Try Not To Post Duplicate Threads
Before you create a thread, please make sure you check the first pages of the forum, at least the three first pages. Because there is no index on this forum, this rule is not going to be strictly forced, but it will be forced to a certain point. If you post a duplicate thread, it will be closed immediately after a moderator notices it. If the duplicated thread is not on the first pages, it may be or may not be closed, on a case by case basis.
No Flaming
Flaming means to insult people to try to hurt their feelings. This is an E-Rated forum, and I am going to be very strict with that rule. If you try to hurt someone's feelings, you may or may not be banned without notice, depending on the case. You may not receive any warning once you insult someone; this may be your only warning and the banning period of this offence may be for over ten days. Everyone has different opinions, and if anything, you will contact the person like a real human being via PM or other private methods.
No Advertising
You are not allowed to advertise other websites, services, or anything of that matter on forum posts or on individual threads. The punishment for doing so will be decided on a case by case basis and the offending post/thread will be edited or deleted immediately. You can only advertise on your Neoseeker Profile, Avatar, Signature, Custom Title, and Neohome, but doing it in posts and Private Messages (PMs) is strictly forbidden.
No Flooding
Flooding is when you post excessively all over the forum just to get your name to show up everywhere, to raise your post count, to be the top forum poster, etc. Usually when you flood, your messages are short and spammy. Spam is not allowed in the first place, so please try not to flood, because remember, there are other members of this forum, and they also deserve a chance to answer questions and post. If you are caugh flooding your forum messages will be deleted and depending on the case, a warning will be sent.
No Memberating
Memberating is to act like a moderator, administrator, staff member, wiki member, or any other rank with powers when you don't have the right credentials. Doesn't matter if you were a moderator on this website before, or if you are a moderator on another website, you are not allowed to boss people around, to threat them, or anything on those lines. If someone is say, posting a thread in the wrong forum, then link them with a nice message, a message that does not make you sound like a boss. A friendly message and a link doesn't hurt anyone and it makes you look more friendly. For instance, if you are linking someone to the right place, you wouldn't say "please follow this link", you would say "Hey there =), you should follow this link to go to the right place".
Do Not Bypass Bans
If you are banned, you are not allowed to post as a guest or to create optional accounts to bypass your ban. You will get caugh, and you will only make your ban longer on both the account you are using to bypass and on your original account. If you have any other family members, friends, or other people that use the same computer as you, then please make sure to show them the forum rules, because if you are banned for legitly breaking the rule and you say something like your brother was posting, it will NOT be considered to lift your original band. If you think you are banned because of a misunderstanding, please do not bypass your ban, and just contact me calmly, in a polite way, and we will talk about it. If you are constantly bypassing your bans, the Super Moderators will be notified about your accounts and the problem and they will take even more action over your account(s).
Do Not Abuse The Report Feature
Reporting someone's post or reporting someone to save face in an argument is considered to be an abuse of the function. First you will be contacted to not to do it again. If you do it again, you will be given a PPD restriction so you can only make a few posts a day and you won't be able to report posts anymore.
Do Not Share Illegal Material
Talking about ROMs, emulators, Warez, cracks, Hacks, illegal software and anything in those lines is strictly forbidden.
Keep All Your Posts Suitable For Children
Because this is an E-Rated forum, I am going to be very strict with this rule. Do not talk about pornographic content, drugs, alcochol, cigarretes, and anything in those lines. Depending on the case, this may be your only warning.
Get Permission To Start Game Threads
If you want to start a game thread then please PM the forum or section moderator first. Game threads need to be well organized and the moderator needs to make sure the thread doesn't promote spam. Usually when a moderator isn't aware of a game thread, it spirals out of control. If you do not have permission, your game thread will be closed. Game threads that have been allowed have a green text below them that say "game approved" or "approved by a moderator".
No "It Was My Brother" Excuses
Many times, people break the rules (in either their original accounts, or in alternatives) and when I notify them, they say "their brother" (and similar excuses) commited the offence. Simply said, this excuse is not going to be accepted anymore. First, it was a moral desobedience to lie to anyone, and second, it is your responsability to get your familiars or friends that are using the site for the first time understand the sitewide rules. If you have a younger brother, then explain him the rules. If he "uses" your account, tell him what's wrong and what's right. For now on, bans are not only going to be placed on each person, but rather on each account. So if there are 100 people using one account, some using it right, and some using it wrong, the account will get banned if it breaks the rules after a few warnings.

Report A Single Post
Any registered member has the ability to report posts and to send them to the Moderator Queue where Moderators and Section Moderators can then review the post and then take action over it depending on the situation. The report feature takes that role. If a member is simply spamming, then report the post and wait until a moderator checks the post. Duplicate posts, common spamming, and other low offences should only be reported once and shouldn't be removed out of view. If someone is posting more than one message in a row, do not report all the following posts, just report the second post and leave a note saying that are more posts from the person below that one.
When To Take Messages Out View
Members that have 50 posts or more have the ability to take out of view the messages they report. In that way, normal members cannot see the actual post, only section moderators and the forum moderators can. You should take out of view the posts who have the intention of hurting another member(flaming), trolling, advertising, and content that is not suitable for children. I highly encourage you to remove out of view this posts. It is better to do that than to memberate.
When To Use The Report Feature Massively
You should only report a lot of posts when there is a lot of flaming, innapropiate content, or anything that was mentioned in the When To Take Messages Out Of View section. Sometimes it is needed to report a lot of posts, so if you think that reporting a lot of posts and taking them out of view is allright, then go ahead and do it, but you have to use your common sense. If you will only do it to annoy people, you will get banned for abusing the report functions.
Contact A Moderator
Sometimes if you think the problem is big enough, feel free to contact the Moderator, section Moderator, or if none of them are online and it is really needed, feel free to contact a Super Moderator. Scroll down to see a list of all the Moderators you can contact. On another note, if you think a member is bypassing a ban, you should contact one of the moderators as fast as you can.
