A new game in the Shining RPG series is official, as of this week's issue of Famitsu. Dubbed Shining Ark, it's for PSP only, and developed by Chaos Rings and Wild ARMs studio Media.Vision. Character designer Tony Taka has reprised his role again this time. Story-wise, a girl with a black wing washes ashore on a far off island at the village of Arcadia. Later on she meets up with the leader of a vigilante group (Freed), an elf/baker (Shannon), and a fisherman (Zynga - hah). The game will launch this winter in Japan -- if a Famitsu reader and NeoGAF member is to be believed, there is "zero chance" of a Western release, sadly. 	Not to surprised what with the PSP being all but dead over here. Sucks though seeing as Media. Vision is working on this and I'm a Wild Arms fan. 	quote Vapid Soul Zero chance....That's very harsh Well, it's a Sega property and Sega has already passed on localizing Shining Hearts, Shining Blade, and Valkyria Chronicles 3, so the likelihood of them deciding to approve a PSP game is probably zero. Atlus USA, Aksys, and XSEED are pretty much the only NA publishers still willing to localize PSP games. And even these publishers might not bring any more PSP titles over next year.
