Pandora Battery
|
What do I need to run CFW on my PSP ?
I used to be quite knowledgeable years ago but its all left my mind lol. From what I can remember I need a Pandora battery and files on a memory stick, right ?
Is this the sort of thing I would need ?
I've not posted in the Homebrew thread because it seems dead. If it needed to be posted in there, sorry Ville

It's cool, wherever you post is fine these days That appears to be exactly what you need, yes. Unless it's a scam.

Good good
What actually happens ? Do you have to select CFW from the menu or does it automatically start once you put the Pandora's Batt. + Mem. Card in ?

Card in ? you hold r to boot up into a menu where you install the cfw. i just bought a phat psp a couple days ago and i didnt even need pb to install cfw. look up pro b cfw and you you'll see what i mean. its a temporary cfw at first but if you have a psp 1000 or 2000 without a ta83 motherboard i think it is, you can install the permanent patch and even downgrade using hellcats recovery flasher. if you do decide to take this route i would recommend a full battery plus have a pandoras battery just in case you brick your psp somehow. sorry for the wall of text haha EDIT: I forgot to mention that this cfw can be installed on the ofw because its signed so you dont need to do anything special except maybe install a higher firmware. Skydweller. You sir are a legend.
Seriously. Until you said about that I thought the only method of installing CFW was a Pandora's battery

Wolfenstein 3d and doom. I love those games. I would say quake as well but i dont like using buttons to look up and down. Gpsp is a nice game boy advance emulator. uhh... those are all off the top of my head. I'll let you know when I find some more. Theres a file manager that I think would be good to get but I cant think of it right now.

I've got Lamecraft so far How about game categories? It is a nifty tool that enables context menus in the XMB.
