	Log in to remove this advertisement Well, I'm gonna get a psp. The main reason I want to get one is because of the emulators and UMD movies. I just want the best value, I can get a 1000 now if I want to. So, what reason is there to buy a 2000 over a 1000? 	The 2000 is lighter and a bit smaller, with slightly worse battery life. It performs a little better due to increased RAM, but really, the size and weight is the main selling point. 	Get the PSP-2000 as that it is only slightly more expensive. The design is better in every aspect like Ville_Valo said.
