So when you boot games from the memory stick, the PSP switches off. Same with pictures. And you "replaced" the flash0. I'd say modifying the flash0 in such a way is your problem, it should pandora battery back to normal, but I think that's the only thing that'll fix it.

Ah flash0, the beauties of *bleep*ing up ones PSP.
You're lucky you have a 1000, most other models would be f-cked since Pandora and MMS got patched with software and hardware.
Just Pandorise it and move on, and don't *bleep* with it again lol

TheGallenOne, you think that my problem can also be solved with a Pandora battery? To point things out, I have no PSP battery but I would be willing to buy one to fix that recovery problem I have.

QuetzalcoatlWell, I need to know your model, your custom firmware and stuff, some CFW's have a patcher to restore your PSP, some have other means, you don't always need a Pandora, just basically need to know how serious your problem is. FallenEdit: Your problem isn't beyond hope thank goodness. I think restoring it to normal FW then back to CFW could solve it, if either you don't want to do that or are unable to I'll see what else I can find.

Well I'm unable to put a normal up-to-date firmware because I don't have a battery at the moment and it won't let me update without a fully charged battery. I was thinking on doing that and then downgrading it. If battery is a must, I would sure buy one tomorrow since a friend is selling me one for 10 bucks. Also, I had Dark Alex latest firmware before tring to update it to the Prometheus (latest version) custom firmware. Although I didn't do a prior installation of a previous firmware required (I think I had to install a prior verison of it first) thus for making me impossible now to acces Recovery menu an impeding me on future attemps to downgrade it as it is.my psp is a phat 1000 of it unless if you need any more specifications I would be gladly to provide. TheFallenOne, I will try to buy the PSP battery from my friend since my battery is pretty much dead. Maybe I can try and do what you suggested. Right now I only play with UMD's and listen to the PSP radio. But heck, i really miss all those awesome applications I had in it, especially all the emus and stuff.

It sounds like your new firmware raped your PSP Quetzalcoatl so sorry to say. I think a new battery and a magic memory stick are a must.

The bad thing that it wasn't the usual semi-brick or brick that usually happen; rather something new. (Maybe I should feel proud lol.) I've been searchig over the internet and been on countless of sites, but non have help for the problem I have. I will try what you suggested. BTW, I don't use a battery in my PSP since it also shuts it down. lol my PSP is some odd case but it still palys UMD games, surfs the net and has the nifty radio feature.

try taking out the memorystick and putting it into another psp then using that psp to make a magic memorystick after you move your content and then make the magic memorystick a normal memorystick and then make it a normal/magic memorystick(look it up on GOOGLE). then with a pandora turn it on with a firmware on the memorystick like 6.60-620 firmware and then try that.

First of all, can go to the main menu Settings-> System Settings-> Format Memory Stick format, You will find that your stick Zhiyu Xia capacity than you have to stick a bit small, this is normal, because the capacity of the factory stick with the PSP and the calculation method of calculation on the computer is different, you will find more formatted a lot of folders, the first for any purpose.
