umd vs downloads from psn.

UMD, at least then if I dont like a game i can sell it back to the shop. Plus you would need loads of memory sticks for the games if you just downloaded them
(i have a 3000 aswell)

PSN DOWNLOADED GAMES:
- price is higher
- requires storage space on a memory stick
- does not have a manual with it
- easier to copy them to other pspies
- faster load times
- can't sell the games back


UMD GAMES:
- more cheaper
- does not require storage space on a memory stick
- has a manual with it
- cannot be copied to other pspies
- slow load times
- can sell the games back

Me personally? I prefer UMD if it's available.

i mostly purchase classic ps games like ffvii, mgs, re1, re2 and re3.
i refuse to pay games over 40$ download via psn store, i prefer umds. gt5 in psn store too cost 40$ just like umd in retailers. should i download gt5 or just get the umd?

i prefer the UMD's. like chimaira, i too like to collect them. plus as many times as i've lost all my digital media on my laptop or home pc, i'm not taking any chances. One day i'll be 80 and wanting to bust out my games from when i was in my 20's. i'm not taking the chance on seeing that awesome 'corrupt data' message. I'll stick with the UMD's.

i know you get 3 or so downloads when you buy something, but still.

ps i also have the 3000. wish i had a 1000 phat for homebrew aswell tho, so if any of you are looking to get rid of one you know who to call. er, pm i guess.

Eh, MHFU has a UMD version so there is no real worry there, unless you dl'd it off psn, then i guess have to dish out some money for umd version me personally, i like UMDS a whole lot more. i love looking through manuals and just physically owning them. with a download, so many things could happen that would ruin your day. the only game i wish i had downloaded was little big planet, because the downloaded one isnt quite as screwey as its UMD counterpart. at least there making patches tho huh
