I fixed the anchor in the last link. I mixed up d with b. I have very slight lysdexia I think.
I also added a bit to the contents, you can get to Twin_Master's homebrew guide as well as to my emulators guide.

After that? POPS.

Just managed to get my psp3000 on cfw after a long wait! Only problem now is that i can't use remote play which is my favourate feature, is there any way to use remote play with CFW 5.03 Gen-A or is that the sacrafice i have to make to play road rash and streets of rage?

Well, there is one way, but it's sorta risky. You need to trick your PS3 into thinking your PSP has a higher version than 5.03. Namely, 5.50. You'll need to edit a file in your Flash memory.
Make a text file called version.txt. Puth this in it:

Now go to the vsh menu on your PSP (press select) and set USB device to Flash0.
Go to the flash0:/vsh/etc folder. Rename the old version.txt to old_version.txt, and copy the new version.txt into the folder.
Restart, re-do ChickHEN, enable CFW, you know the drill.
Hopefully, the PSP will connect to the PS3!

"Move things across again"? I don't quite get what you're saying.

PlayStation Network Store? Word is they've blocked it for you if you don't have at least 5.50 GEN-A, but you can still use Media Go to access stuff on the PSN.
You should indeed be able to play games online now!

I think he means, does he switch the USB connection in the VSH menu back to USB when he wants to use the memory stick.
And yes, switch it back to USB and leave it there. You want want to accidentally access flash0

Why can't you access PSN? I think you should be able to anyway.

Twin_Master. I tried JoySense, it's phenomenal. I didn't think it would work, but it just did! I had to re-center, since my analog stick has had a small 'ghosting' effect ever since I got it. It used to walk backwards slowly in LCS sometimes, and scroll down slowly in PDFs. Now it doesn't, that simple

Does anyone have a media player for PSP that can play AVIs?

Yeah but it's just like "Move the stick to the corner for a few seconds, let it slowly move back", it seems so vague, and it just works.

Oh thanks Xhizors. I did some searches earlier today, I found PSPlayer TM, which doesn't work on my firmware, and Pimpstreamer which doesn't seem to play AVIs. I was looking for a universal player, so if I ever come across the problem of incompatible formats again I could just bust that out. That'll work though, thanks.

Yeah sorry i meant so that i could transfer music and videos on it.

It's not that i can't access PSN i just haven't tried yet. (Infact i have through remote play but i'm a bit slow today) Didn't want to do all that then race on PSN and get bricked

Just to confirm remote play does work using this fix on 5.03 Gen-A but as previously mentioned it still asks for a software update to get on the playstation store.

I had the same problem where mine would move off to the right a bit.

I tried it once, and it was pretty awesome. It fixed my analogue's center once, but then one day it all went fooey and I got a new one under warranty (that's how I got rid of my TA-088v3
