Guys, in the need of some help here. I need to know if there are any CFW apps that will enable and disable WLAN without the use of the switch. My switch is really buggy, so I'd like to find an alternative! >_<

im about to purchase a psp with custom FW....but im not too sure about what to do with it...

i do have a few PSX games that i purchsed from the PS store on my PS3 and downloaded the client to tranfer them to my PSP, and a few games gow ect... but what are the benefits of a cutom PSP and what decnt apps are avilable?

and are there any games i should definatly play?

god of war COO and GOS
the metal gear solid collection
final fantasy collection

but isnt using Prometheus easier?

If anyone knows, does installing a recent CFW prevent me from using Sony services like the store, etc? Or what else it would prevent me from? Thanks.

So I've been out of the scene for a while.... a longggg while. Just got back into it today, got a PSP 1000 in great condition and 4gb stick for $30.00, couldn't pass it up.

Luckily, I still had a Pandora's Battery so getting CFW was easy. I'm currently on CFW 5.00 M33-4
My question, is this the latest CFW? Also I've heard some newer games aren't compatible, how does this work?
I tried doing the network update with M33 updater on but I get a DNS error, despite having a working connection to the internet.

Any help would be amazing, thanks.

don't bother with it.

Upgrade to the latest official firmware and use CFW PRO.

You can either run OFW all the time and boot to CFW when you need it. Or you can install the CFW on top of the OFW.

Long time no see, I remember you helping me out with CFW back in the day.

I still have 5.00 M33-3 running on mine, gunna try and upgrade it and try out the God of War from 2010 I never played:p Haven't been on my PSP for years, so is this CFW pro thing the way to go?
