I am wondering if I need to go to the ofw to play gran turismo psp. i have heard that many new games only work on the new official firmware and I don't want to buy it to have it not work. -------------------

You will most likely need to go back to Official Firmware to play GTPSP, but if you make a Pandora battery and a Magic Memory Stick with your custom firmware PSP, you will be able to boot into both official firmware and custom firmware when the time comes. ------------------- PSP: Hack it, Ask it! 	Well there goes a wasted 20 minutes. ._. I tried to make a pandora battery for myself. got it open after a while. noticed that it's not the same as the picture given because it's not an official psp battery. Gahh.. If there's any way to make a pandora battery out of a rayovac battery could you let me know? -------------------

That's way easier and works on almost any battery. 	Yeah I have a pandoras and I have a spare 1gb memory stick. It is a bit of a pain in the arse to upgrade then downgrade but hopefully the game will be worth it. -------------------

	I guess until a new cfw is developed there is no need to put the cfw back on because all of the new games are going to need it. -------------------

	Hey i have a psp 3000 with the 6.00 firmware. I made the pandora battery but when i go to make a magic memory stick, it doesnt let me. Can you tell me how or what im doing wrong? I followed the instructions on the first post. -------------------

You have a PSP 3000. This is not a PSP Phat (1000) or PSP Slim (2000). Even if you could make the Magic Memory Stick, you wouldn't be able to use it on your PSP.
