PSP 1000 VS PSP 2000 VS PSP 3000

I myself own a psp 1000 and really want to either get a 2000 or and 3000 becuase the psp 1000 hasnt got very many accesories like the 2000 and 3000 for example skype headset (3000 has built in mic) i have heard things like the 2000 and 3000 not being very good fo varius reasons but i have also heard there have been problems with the 3000 screen and my question is which should i buy.

here are my choices, keep the 1000 or buy a 20000 or a 3000 is it worth the price etc?.

And the psp 2000 and 3000 are more nice and shiny also they are smaller etc if i do sell my 1000 and buy one ill probly get a piano black one.

I'd say stick with the 1000. What exactly do you want a newer one for? Skype isn't that great, and unless you really badly want TV out it really isn't worth it.

But that's what I liked about the 1000. The surface material was rougher which meant better grip.

Does the PSP (Original) charge while communicating even thought it doesn't show it?

the 1000 will charge till it battery is full, and remain on ac power after fully charged so that the battery stays at 100 percent charge after removing the ac power.

now, the comparisons:

1000 - bigger, easier to hold, matte rear has better grip and wont show fingerprints, has a better surviveability if you drop it, and is easier to clean the insides if need be.

2000 - smaller, lighter, better hardware and positioning of speakers.

3000 -.............its got the ps logo on a button

seriously though, stick with the 1000, unless you want a little more performance (imo, not worth it).

I like the 1000, but 2000 is good too. 3000 is crap.

Once the microphone gets used in online games more it'll be a must have, and the non-reflective screen has to be a godsend...
