Hi guys! I've been playing this game for a while and am rather frustrated with the characters. I don't see why you would use certain characters?! The blonde mechanic girl Led...I cannot seem to get her to level up! She is 16th level while some other characters are 37th. In other words, she's totally underpowered...no matter what equipment I can give her. I only use her to talk to people because all the guys thinks she's hot and give her stuff. I always end up fighting with limited characters (aryam, lobo) and don't understand why I have like 9 to choose from? Is there something I'm doing wrong? Arayam has great magic abilities and can hit multiple targets with his arm strike. Lobo has the overall best armor/speed/damage I think...at least better than my two swords people. Badu and Runner are too slow (Aryam properly equipped can go almost twice as fast and only does slightly less damage), while Grubb and Led are total wimps. I tend to value speed when buying equipment...is that a bad thing? Magic seems useless except for barrier spells or heals. All my attack spells do pathetic damage and cost tons of core. I cannot possibly keep up a spell offensive. Is it really worth it to keep buying core items and throwing spells? I seem to be much more efficient just shooting at people. Is there something I'm doing wrong again? Thanks for your patience, sorry for long note.

Usually you have to think to lots of stuff when you chose youre characters: were do you go, whom do you have to talk to, to fight to etc. I like keeping Led in my party because she is fast, can fix or move things and has good core. And if you look at all of them, each and every one has qualities you need. So, by a trial and error basis, you will know who is the best to be used.
