I haven't played this game for quite awhile, but I did have a little bit of an idea about a year a go or so how to keep stats up as much as possible. (forgive me if I am wrong, but I am about 90% sure this works). When you're getting old (mid-30's) and stats start to drop. Hopefully by then, your stats are maxed out, your career guy's stats will start to drop, to avoid this for a about 4-5 years, go to quick training (where the computer simulates the training for you) and have it for aggressive training. You should get either +points 1-3 for a 2-4 years or so (Unless your stats are all maxed out already, which I hope it is
). then your 40th year or so your stats will be +0 for a while This should give your guy the best stats for the longest time. When your stats go down -1 for a while MAKE SURE that you that you do Agressive training so that your stats only go down -1 because if you do normal or easy training (not sure the names, but the weaker training programs) then your stats will go down -3 or -4. Sadly to say, your stats will not last forever, but this is by far the best way to keep your stats up for about 5-7 years or so during your tough mid-30's and early 40's. Also, make sure you do NOTquote
do the training where you do the punching bag in your late career because then your stats will go -1 for ALL your categories except agility will be -0. So if you are a speed guy choose the POWER training game simulator because then your stats for POWER will go down instead of Speed and vice-versa if you want to still be a One-Punch Knockout guy choose Speed training so that your Speed stats go down, but your Power remains very high! (this especially works in Easy mode without question, not sure how Medium would go, however) Just make sure you do not go back and forth between Speed and Power. Make sure you stick with one once your stats start to drop. Also, if Agreesive training is lowering your stats more than it usally does, just reset the game and start again. (doesn't take too long) Not sure if it works for this game, I haven't tried it, but you can do Soft Reset as well I am pretty sure.
On my Career mode, first I did Easy mode, with a record of like 130-1-0 with 129 knockouts. But, my guy went his entire career until he was 65 years old and he was forced to retire. (pretty sure it was 65)
In conclusion, just make sure your stats are near maxed out before that crucial age of around 35. Play a whole bunch of weak opponents that have a *short week* for your next fight ( I had mine maxed out at mid-20's age 26 I belive) except for Agility, which doesn't play a crucial play in the game as long as it is a little above average. Once all my stats were maxed out except for agility I did simulated training for agility Speed. ('Cause I can't for some reason, master that training game.)
Thank you all, if you have read this far. Peace out and may you have an undefeated Career wil a bunch of Knockouts (KO's). Well, I am gonna go play Medium Level Career because Easy is just a joke... See ya KO King
