or is it like MGS2 when you finish it its no goos?

I wouldn't buy it. After awhile it becomes very repetetive and gets boring fast. Might take awhile to beat the game, but its boring to me. Glad I never bought it.

It is good game to play occasionally, but if you wan't a game that you would play long periods in a row then select something else.

This game is an absolute blast when you get into it after first popping it into your PS2. You marvel at all the people running around, the particularly violent deaths you are able to deal out, and you go crazy as you fight off dozens of people at once, leaving bodies scattered everywhere.

Then, after a couple hours, you start to realize that all that stuff is pretty much the same time and time again, and no matter how many missions you complete, or how far you get in Chaos mode, all the fighting is the same. In addition, all those people running around... the biggest brag from R* about how many rioters they could get on-screen at once? Damned annoying after awhile... the people aren't rioting... they are just endlessly running!

Definately rent this one... I think it's a good way to spend a weekend, but even if you think you can get more enjoyment out've it beyond that, buy it used at least.. not a problem since many people who bought this game have sold it back... there are used copies everywhere!!

I rented it and after 1 hour of play time I was glad to not own it. After playing GTA3 all other games just seem so bad don't they.

My cousin rented this game and brought it to my house, we played it for a few minutes and I am glad it was only a rented game. In my personal opinion it's a terribly boring game. If you want a good game like this get GTA3 if you don't have it already.

I wounder why web sites are saying that state of emergancy is better than gta3. gta3 ia way better than this crap. don't buy it.

I don't know what websites you are looking at but they must be blind, comparing the great GTA3 to this trash.

i think this is a great game (no flaming please ) it's nothing compared to grand theft auto III (what is? besides vice city) but i still like playing it

this game is kind of cool, you can all flame me now for being different and liking the game, and if u all hate this game so much then leave this forum, or dont post anything, but i thought it was cool, i cant play it for that long though without putting gta 3 back in and playing that

Rent it first, then if you like it, get it for no more than $20. I think its a good game, but its obviously not for everybody.
