NORFOLK Mission

PLEASE HELP! I love this game, but I am getting fustrated. In the walkthrough it says to build a Weather Tower and change the weather when the enemies are on the ice waiting to attack Norfolk....well it say the Weather Tower is not available in this mission, so how am I suppose to save Norfolk?

this mission can be done just by having a good start

as soon as u escort the messenger to norfolk defend the iron mines to the northwest of base with your heroes. get pilgrim to blow open clay mine around your base..etc.the barbarians will send attacks and serfs to build. use helias to convert some red barbarians.also use serfs to build 2 ballista towers by the yellow hut. after a few waves of attacks that a ballista tower and the heroes can defend, the barbarian base is weak enough for you to destroy with heroes and a few swordsmen.
then develop up base and get reasonable army... do the sub quest (tranquilising potion) and destroy the sulphur mines to south east. then when kerboros changes the weather your base should be developed enough to already have enough resources for laboratory and buildings for weather changing. then set to summer when all his troops are on the ice to kill them all. to be on safe side send your troops up to Norfolk.

The weather station is only unlocked when the weather changes to winter snow and ice, and only if you've spoken to Leonardo.

The options above are also good but if you wait to build the weather station and control center (there are two don't forget), I found that it was a very close thing i.e. when the metrologists finally had the correct information to make it work the enemies were already coming across the ice.

Also if you follow the southern edge of the map (directly below your castle) to the East, you will find a person who tells you the secret enterance to the church and the Tranquilizing potion quest and subsequently Leonardo and the sulpher mines, as well as it being the best place for a base!

Don't take out the barbarians
Just hold them off with your heros eventually they get the idea and leave u alone:)
