	Uh, no. A-Rod has the talent. But hes a clubhouse cancer. Which means he kills chemistry. No thanks. Boston has a good thing going with them. We don't need his "me first" attitude on the team. Are you forgetting about the cancer that he was with Texas and now the shit he stirs up in NY? I'll pass. Besides no one in Boston would want his ass anyway. 	I still don't believe A Rod is a cancer. Atleast, I haven't read/heard any hard evidence that would lead me to believe so. In Texas, it was his enormous contract that prevented Texas from putting the correct pieces around him. Plus, they were/are poorly managed (from the front office). And in New York, its a lot of the same deal. Too focused on building a powerhouse offense, and not enough quality pitching. A Rod is a great talent and a top 3 player in this league. Any team should kill to have this guy. Obviously, Boston fans will hate him because of his Yankee ties. I'd welcome A Rod back to Seattle, except for the huge f'n contract he demands. ------------------- VESTS! VESTS! I GOT VESTS!

	Well, I don't know if I'd call him a clubhouse cancer, I agree he tends to come off as a crybaby. It seems that after the relatively small markets in Seattle and Dallas, he wasn't ready to deal with the New England media. Regardless, he's still a damn good player and I would be immensely happy if he came and played in Houston. I think part of the problem with him coming to Boston would be the fanbase. They've hated him so much for the last few years, I can see why they wouldn't exactly welcome him with open arms. ------------------- Steelers. Rockets. Texans. Astros. Longhorns.

	I could see why Boston wouldn't want ARod, but how could you pass up the best player in the MLB. If Boston doesn't get him who else will? A team needs some serious cash to be able to sign a contract like his and unless he wants to stay a Yankee I don't know if any other teams has the money for ARod. -------------------

	Pfft... screw Gay-Rod and his 30 million a year pricetag. Anyone else see the team they showed on Sportscenter you could afford for less than 30 million? It looked like a mix of this years All-Star team with the exception of Sammy Sosa and BJ Upton. Hell, 4/5 of the NL's starting infield(not including the pitcher) was on there. And A-Rod going to Boston after being hated by Sox fans would be like Brett Favre going to Chicago or McNabb signing with the Giants. -------------------

	One move today, the A's have traded catcher Jason Kendall to the Cubs for catcher Rob Bowen and minor league pitcher Jerry Blevins. I thought Kendall might get moved, but to the Cubs? I didn't know they could afford his contract. -------------------

Baltimore was playing without Melvin Mora and Miguel Tejada, their two best hitters. Horacio Ramirez was dynamite in his return from the DL. 	What do you guys think of Torii Hunter and what do you think his future is? I think we (the Twins) CAN afford Hunter, but may have to make some sacrifices. I personally think he has 50% chance of staying, I mean, it is his hometown, he is our leader, we are getting a new stadium, and I mean, he has been on the Twins through his whole career.
