Well... As destiny would have it... he wasn't destined to get a ring... And I'll say it again... you don't need 5 MVPs in your team just to say that your team deserves it...

First off, that shot that Horry made to beat the Kings a few years back was luck. It wasn't lucky that it went in, it was just that the Lakers caught the luckiest break ever. That play is what inspired the league to establish an instant replay rule. It was shown like a million times on highlights, the ball left his hand about a 10th of a second too late. In slow-mo, you can clearly see the ball is still in his hand as the clock hits triple zero. And because of that play, the league established the instant replay rule the following season.

And I don't have a problem if he has 5 rings. He definitely deserves the two he received when he played for Houston. He may not have carried the team back then but he was a very key role player. And like I mentioned above, without his shot against the Kings, the Lakers wouldn't have advanced to the finals. Even though the shot shouldn't have counted in the first place, it did and because of that, they went on to win their 3rd championship.

Man, I was hoping for the Suns to be against the Heat in the Finals, but I guess at this rate, it won't happen. The Spurs lead 3-0 against the Suns. Jeez. Lol.

Wait I'm confused, so have you been arguing this entire time that that one shot was lucky, or that he's hit lucky shots his entire career? I've been getting agitated because you've been ignoring the statistics and continue insisting that his shots are lucky. As for the incident in question, I agree that the Lakers were very fortunate in that situation, but I maintain that the shot itself was a good shot. If he was off balance, falling away, threw it up with one hand or anything like that, then yes it was lucky, but he was set and he knocked down the shot under pressure.

As for the Spurs and the Suns, there's gonna be a hell of a lot of brooms in the SBC Center Monday night. The Spurs have done it with offense, which I admit I'm a little surprised at. I knew the Spurs had good offense, but I didn't realize it was good enough to beat the Suns at their own game 3 games in a row. I think D'Antoni has to shoulder much of the blame for this series as he hasn't coached like somebody that deserves coach of the year honors. The Suns have made absolutely no adjustments to try to counter the Spurs, and D'Antoni has been unable to get his team to play anything that resembles a solid defense. It seemed like the Suns answer to this series was "Well, Joe Johnson will be back for game 3." It was obviously too little, and way too late.

Phoenix had a great season, and I'm happy for Steve Nash for what he's done with the team, but they're done.

Sorry Bamman, but you're wrong both times. Once again, I have the vid on my computer, Horry clearly gets it off in time as the buzzer doesn't go off until the ball is half way to the goal. In one angle, you can clearly see the clock with time left with the ball in the air. Here's a crappy image I took.

Second, the play that brought up video review was Hornets vs. Magic in the Playoffs when Baron Davis threw up a shot for the hell of it and it went in. Ref called it off and game was sent to OT. Hornets still managed to win.

Yeah haha Amare is averaging over 35 a game against them. He desperately needs to be back at pf though. He can guard the bigs and he's about as reliable on the defensive glass as earl boykins.

Too bad Amare's performance hasn't been put to good use... What's the point of averaging 35 points when you end up on the losing side... one more game... the SPURS OWN THE SUNS!!!
